This week we have seen some impressive performances from players in the class of 2023 across the state. This class has a nice amount of talent and depth with quite a few players in this class already receiving scholarship offers.

The Class of 2023 has a nice amount of Guards and East Forsyth Guard [player_tooltip player_id="949393" first="Will" last="Gray"] is one of them! He’s quietly put together some nice games this year, including an 18 point performance against Reagan on Friday night. His athleticism and IQ for the game are just a few of the attributes that make him an intriguing prospect.

Pine Forest HS Guard [player_tooltip player_id="949379" first="Isaiah" last="Washington"] has hit the ground running this season, they have a 1-2 record at this point but both games were close and very competitive games. Washington is leading his team with his scoring, averaging 25 points a night which is a 10 Point increase from his 15 PPG numbers last year.

Lake Norman Christian Guard [player_tooltip player_id="992474" first="Mikey" last="Williams"] is a name that is known across the country and he’s shown why especially during this week. Williams has averaged over 30 Points per game, shooting over 50% from the field and constantly bringing the intensity for his team on both ends of the floor.

Kinston HS suffered a huge loss in their season opener with [player_tooltip player_id="533510" first="Dontrez" last="Styles"] going down early with an injury. Obviously the team is missing a ton of production with Styles out but Wing [player_tooltip player_id="577842" first="Jeremy" last="Dixon"] has taken on the challenge to step up and provide some production for the squad. Dixon went for 17 Points in their loss to Washington HS and is showing flashes of how good he can be.

Grace Christian Forward [player_tooltip player_id="1116124" first="Jesse" last="Mitchell"] has put together some impressive performances this year so far and he continued his play against Crossroads Christian. Mitchell finished with a game high of 29 Points, almost surpassing his Season high of 31 Points that he put up against Raleigh Christian Academy earlier this year.
