<p><i>The final week of January should have plenty of fireworks with public schools and private a schools both featuring some matchups between rivals and opponents that will battle for conference championships</i>.</p>
<p><b><i>Terry Sanford @ Westover HS</i></b>: These two teams met up in the season opener with Terry Sanford getting the win 52-47. They haven’t missed a beat since, going 6-0 so far on the season but Westover will present a challenge for them as they have not lost a game since the season opener. Both teams have talent, Westover features Senior <b>[player_tooltip player_id="839121" first="D’Marco" last="Dunn"]</b> & Junior <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1118003" first="Mikey" last="Campbell"]</b> while Terry Sanford features Senior <b>Kaylon Keys</b> & Junior <b>[player_tooltip player_id="787668" first="Davis" last="Molnar"]. </b></p>
<p><b><i>Washington HS @ Kinston HS</i></b>: These teams met up earlier in the season with Washington having a dominant performance winning by a wide margin. Kinston will look to bounce back and get revenge but will need a stellar performance from Junior Wing <b>[player_tooltip player_id="577842" first="Jeremy" last="Dixon"]</b> who has taken on a large partt of the scoring since Styles has been out. Washington HS has been getting things done by committee but one of their players to keep an eye on will be Junior <b>[player_tooltip player_id="945077" first="Terry" last="Moore"]</b> who is averaging 20 Points a night so far this season.</p>
<p><b><i>Word of God @ The Burlington School</i></b>: Both teams are trying to get back on track and in the running for being a top overall team in the state. The Burlington School will look to their leader Senior <b>[player_tooltip player_id="838021" first="Jamarii" last="Thomas"]</b> to run the show at the PG spot and Word Of God will depend on the Junior PG <b>[player_tooltip player_id="848065" first="Khalil" last="Marshall"]</b> to hold his own as well. This matchup has a chance to have plenty of fireworks with over 10 college prospects taking the floor.</p>
<p><b><i>Greensboro Day School @ High Point Christian</i></b>: GDS is younger this year but they are growing and developing so don’t be surprised to see them make a run toward the end of the season in the playoffs. Sophomore Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="577888" first="Jaydon" last="Young"]</b> is a special talent and Senior Guard <b>Nik Graves</b> has turned some heads with his play this season as well. HPCA is led by one of the better unsigned seniors on the board in <b>KJ Garrett</b> who has put up nice scoring and assist numbers throughout the year.</p>
