The BCSL has been one of the more under the radar conferences in the Garden State over the last two seasons. Moorestown has been a juggernaut in Group 3 over the past two seasons, while Trenton Catholic keeps churning out college basketball players. Guard [player_tooltip player_id="850548" first="Freddie" last="Young"] Jr. is the next college-bound Iron Mike as he announced his commitment to Lincoln(PA.) The conference still has plenty of available talent that will make an impact at the next level. Here are the top available prospects in the BCSL.

[player_tooltip player_id="933735" first="Stefano" last="Faloppa"], 6’8 SF Holy Cross Prep

The Lancers have to play this season without legendary coach John Valore, but they will still be in good shape with Faloppa returning. The 6’8 wing can put the ball on the deck and is unafraid of drawing contact. Faloppa has a nice release on his jumper and is an underrated passer. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the ability to defend multiple positions. Holy Cross Prep needs a big year out of Faloppa and he is ready to lead the team in 2021.

[player_tooltip player_id="900380" first="Brian" last="Bernard"], 6’3 SG Trenton Catholic

Bernard came off the bench last year, but he should have a breakout senior season. The 6’3 guard plays with tremendous instincts on the defensive end as he has quick hands and gets numerous deflections. Bernard knows how to push the ball forward in transition and can get to the rim. He has a good handle and is capable of running the offense in a pinch. Bernard is one of the more under the radar players in the BCSL and is looking to breakout this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="929529" first="Daniel" last="Thomas"], 5’10 PG Burlington Township

The Falcons need a scorer to emerge this season and Thomas looks to be the guy. The 5’10 guard is dynamic with the ball in his hands as he uses his speed to blow by his defenders. Thomas is a crafty finisher around the basket and does not mind drawing contact on his way there. He is a good rebounder for a guard and plays with quick hands on the defensive end. Thomas is a sparkplug that should be the go-to guy offensively for Burlington Township.

[player_tooltip player_id="1012984" first="Dajer" last="Muldrow"], 6’5 SF Trenton Catholic

The second Iron Mike on this list, Muldrow will make an impact on the BCSL this season. The Snyder transfer has a good face-up game and is at his best slashing to the basket. Muldrow has a nice touch around the basket and is capable of finishing through contact. His length allows him to defend multiple positions and is an underrated passer. Muldrow is a skilled wing prospect who should be a great addition to Trenton Catholic this season.

Shawn Congleton, SG Doane Academy

Congleton dropped 12 points in Doane Academy’s opener against New Egypt, but expect much bigger games out of him as the season progresses. He has a good handle and is dangerous when he gets into the lane. Congleton has a nice shooting stroke and does not need a lot of space to get his shot off. He is an underrated defender and makes smart decisions with the ball in his hands. Congleton will have bigger games as the season progresses as Doane Academy looks to have a strong 2021 season.
