As we are hopeful for an AIA season to start now in mid-January, we look at some of the top players in every conference.

We move over to the 5A SF’s.

Here are some of the top ones that will impact their teams:

[player_tooltip player_id="809675" first="Colin" last="Carey"] (Sunrise Mountain)

-One of the top scoring senior forwards in the AIA. He is a three-level scorer who shoots it better then most and can flush it down on the break. His pull-up is crisp and he rebounds well. A POY candidate.

[player_tooltip player_id="809696" first="Jamison" last="Kay"] (Gila Ridge) (Pictured)

-One of the more unique wings. He handles it like a PG and can make plays for others plus will defend multiple positions on the court. He can pull-up from mid to the 3pt line and looks to lead the rising team from Yuma. A POY candidate.

[player_tooltip player_id="714798" first="Nicolas" last="Giliberto"] (PV)

-One of the top shooting forwards in the AIA will be a perfect Robin to [player_tooltip player_id="809694" first="Moses" last="Demalek"]’s Batman. These two form arguably the best forward duo in the conference. He has picture perfect form and seems to never miss when he is in rhythm.

[player_tooltip player_id="827019" first="Ringo" last="Aguek"] (Ironwood)

-One of the top breakout players of the conference. He played heavily on JV last year with a taste of varsity. He will form arguably the top trio with [player_tooltip player_id="703835" first="JJ" last="White"] and [player_tooltip player_id="703810" first="Bailon" last="Black"]. He defends anyone on court and can score it from all 3 levels.

[player_tooltip player_id="973813" first="Jayson" last="Petty"] (Centennial)

-A long two-way player will defend and play the 2-4 for the Coyotes. He can switch on anyone on the perimeter then battle with the post players. He is a catch 3pt shooter and an above the rim dunker.

[player_tooltip player_id="831118" first="Emery" last="Young"] (Centennial)

-One of the better soph guards in 5A plays the wing for the Coyotes, so I put him on this list. He is another multiple-positional defender who scores it from inside and out. He is tough, fearless and ultra competitive. He wins 50/50 balls and gets on the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id="994680" first="Jai" last="Anthoni Bearden"] (Kellis)

-The top ranked freshman wing is tough on the defensive end. He uses his length and athleticism to rebound and block shots. He can handle it plus rip through and shoot the 3.
