The MLK Event in Arizona at the Grand Resort took place Jan16-18. Here’s a list of NorCal prospects in the class of 2023 to keep an eye on when we get back into the gym in NorCal. These are players that can contribute in some way to the success of their varsity team.

Bobo Jordan 6’7 SF/Wing Forward. Grant HS. Pacer Academy

Jordan has good size, and length. He has the ability to play on the perimeter, as well as the post area. He has good shooting form, and had some success hitting shots outside the key. He’s a big target, and has a good turnaround jumper inside the key. Jordan can handle the ball well for a player his size. He’s one of NorCal’s rising prospects in this 2023 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="1118709" first="Luke" last="Kremer"] 6’5 Forward. Pleasant Valley HS. NorCal Ducks 16

It was my first look at Kremer. He had a good showing at this event. He’s a smart player with a good set of skills that should contribute to his varsity team right away. He did a good job of defending in the post, and grabbing rebounds. He can lead the transition break, his handling and passing were noticeable. He has good range on his jump shot, and scored often in the post. Wright’s Watch list

[player_tooltip player_id="1114844" first="Aden" last="Curry"] 6’3 Forward. Santa Cruz HS. Team Arsenal.

Curry is a thick undersized forward who knows how to use his body. He has good strength, and can defend taller players in the post. He does a good job of boxing out, and getting rebounds. His good outlet passing started several breaks. He can be an effective scorer in the post area, he has a mid-range shot. He runs hard up and down the floor, he’ll screen and role to finish at the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id="1118711" first="Bryson" last="Snelling"] 6’3 Combo Guard, Pleasant Valley HS. NorCal Ducks 16

Snelling is a versatile player who can contribute in different ways. I took notice of his willingness to defend. He’s long, active, and has good lateral movement. He can play both guard positions if needed. He has a jump shot with range, and he can get to the basket on the drive. He’s a good rebounding guard. Plays with some intensity. He’s on Wright’s Watch list.
