<p>As the newest rankings have recently been released for the state of Idaho, 10 newcomers have been added to the list for the class of 2023. There are a lot of talented players from the class of 2023 that are staying at the junior varsity level for the time being, but in the coming years, the class of 2023 will truly show the high-level players that are working their way up and into playing time. Continue reading for a look at the 10 newcomers to the rankings from the class of 2023. </p>
<p><strong>#15: [player_tooltip player_id="1108089" first="Hayden" last="Fletcher"], Centennial:</strong> Hayden played varsity for the Patriots last season and is continuing to find his role on the team. He is a solid offensive player with a tight handle and a great looking jumpshot. Fletcher has been growing and he will be scary in the next couple of seasons once he reaches his full potential.</p>
<p><strong>#19: [player_tooltip player_id="1108098" first="Titus" last="Bailey"], Capital:</strong> Bailey has already begun to make a name for himself at the varsity level and he has a lot of great basketball left ahead of him. He can shoot well from outside and is deceptively quick on his way to finishing at the basket. Bailey will be a really great player for the Eagles in the coming years.</p>
<p><strong>#21: [player_tooltip player_id="1108090" first="Parker" last="Pettit"], Sandpoint:</strong> Parker is a solid athlete on the gridiron and the court and he can do it all for the Bulldogs. Pettit has shown an ability to shoot and pass efficiently, but does best around the basket and finishing through contact.</p>
<p><strong>#23: [player_tooltip player_id="1108091" first="Ty" last="Gilbert"], Grace:</strong> Gilbert is a great shooter for Grace and his role with the team will continue to expand in the following years. Watch for Ty to continue climbing the rankings as he develops a more accurate shot and more playing time to do more damage on the offensive end.</p>
<p><strong>#24: [player_tooltip player_id="1108092" first="Dylan" last="Rehder"], Moscow:</strong> Dylan is a knockdown shooter for the Moscow Bears and he has shown his ability to play well at the 4A level for a very solid team. As he gains more experience and given more opportunity, Rehder will rise to the challenge and become a top player from the class of 2023.</p>
<p><strong>#25: [player_tooltip player_id="1108093" first="Austin" last="Curtis"], Clearwater Valley:</strong> Curtis is a big player for Clearwater Valley who uses his size to his advantage. As a linemen on the football team, Curtis is not afraid to get physical and he loves to push his way to the basket for layups at the rim.</p>
<p><strong>#29: [player_tooltip player_id="1108099" first="Michael" last="Youngberg"], Weiser:</strong> Youngberg is a physical athlete with a lot of finesse on the basketball court. He likes to get into the paint for easy buckets, and he is also a talented defensive specialist who makes great reads in help side.</p>
<p><strong>#30: [player_tooltip player_id="1108094" first="Derek" last="Burt"], Genesee:</strong> Burt does a little bit of everything for Genesee and he is a solid player that will continue to develop as his playing time increases. Look for Burt to become a better shooter as he develops his offensive game.</p>
<p><strong>#34:</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1108095" first="Nolan" last="Bartosz"], Genesee:</strong> Nolan has great size for his age and he uses his body to push past defenders and score at the rim. Nolan will be a great player if his development continues to progress as it has leading up to this season.</p>
<p><strong>#35: [player_tooltip player_id="1108100" first="Levi" last="Estes"], Weiser:</strong><strong> </strong>Estes is a solid offensive contributor for Weiser and he has developed a solid jumper and is a smooth finisher at the rim. On defense, Estes is reliable and he will develop into an excellent defender in the upcoming years.</p>
