2021: UNSIGNED Point Guards – Part 2

<p>The 2021 Palmetto State Class has no shortage of Point Guards still looking for a school next fall. Lewis helped the Golden Flashes to a (20-2) as a junior. Lewis was named Florence Morning News Preseason Player of the Year for this coming year. Lewis collected 27 receptions - 537 yards and 9 touchdowns this past fall. Lewis will get the ball into the gaps and find the open man. Lewis a small guard like every kid is deserving of a chance at the next level. Watson really knows how to use ball screens and find the open man from out top. Watson a bit of a streaky shooter isn’t afraid to play on the ball defense. Watson plays in a great region in the Upstate and has a city rival in Dorman HS right across town. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="644810" first="AJ" last="Thompson"] - Northwestern HS (Rock Hill) (pictured on front) </strong></p> <p>Thompson recently went over 1,000 career points for his career. Thompson a solid student in the classroom just comes up big time after time on the hardwood. Thompson still likes to utilize the bounce pass a lost art for sure these days. Thompson gets the ball into the paint and finishes with a floater or a dish out to a open teammate for a look. Thompson excelled on hardwood this past summer with Team Synergy and it seemed he never came off the floor. Thompson keeps the ball low to the floor and rarely turns it over. Shuler also excels in football and soccer. Shuler is very quick from end to end and really enjoys playing the game 94 feet. Bishop recently scored 28 points vs Gaffney HS. Bishop shoots the ball at a very high clip 52% - 3 point range and 92% Foul line. Marlowe will dive into the bleachers, take a charge or come up with a big rebound from his point guard position. Marlowe plays the game extremely unselfish and has a team first mentality. Marlowe recorded recently 19 steals in 4 games at the Beach Ball Classic. </p>
