Prep Hoops Virginia recently updated its class of 2021 rankings, and now it’s time to take a closer look. Here are 6 terrific perimeter defenders who remain unsigned.

[player_tooltip player_id="1091523" first="Aaron" last="Cavezza"] | Christ Chapel

Cavezza is a tall and athletic wing who processes the game quickly. He is light on his feet and able to stay in front of most ball-handlers, but even when he isn't his length helps make up for any ground he loses.

[player_tooltip player_id="798684" first="Derrick" last="Jones"] | Blue Ridge

Jones is a long and wiry wing who showcases significant potential on the defensive side of the ball. He's a deflection machine who is well on his way to being a menace at the point of attack.

[player_tooltip player_id="1091514" first="Steven" last="Lincoln"] | Yorktown

Lincoln earned conference defensive player of the year for his effort at Yorktown. He uses active hands well to disrupt passing lanes and he has long arms which aid him in those areas well. Lincoln is robustly built but quite nimble for his size. This combination makes him difficult to bump off his spot.

[player_tooltip player_id="798698" first="Quentin" last="Livingston"] | King’s Fork

Livingston's game is predicated on energy. His energy translates on the defensive side of the ball where he likes to race around the court and make plays both on and off the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id="798683" first="Wesley" last="Peterson Jr"]. | Bishop O’Connell

Peterson has held his own against high-quality opponents both in and out of conference play. He is a plus athlete with the size to guard multiple positions effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id="798734" first="Caleb" last="Satchell"] | Potomac

Even on nights when Satchell doesn't score, he makes an impact with his defense. He's an incredible competitor who can be a fun chess piece when designing a defensive scheme.
