Track some impressive guard performances from Tuesday-Thursday night games.

Nolensville vs. Summit: December 1

[player_tooltip player_id="775631" first="Max" last="McAllister"] (2021) | Nolensville

Formerly a transfer to NHS, Max knocked down his shots against Summit. Through his first three games, MM averaged 12 points per game. His outside shooting is really scorching.

Gordonsville vs. Eagleville: December 1

Darrell Holt (2021) | Gordonsville

Point guard Darrell Holt provided GHS with pesky, disruptive defense. Holt plays with a low center of gravity and anticipates ball movement well. Offensively, at least early, he tried to put his teammates in dangerous places via the pass. There is an admirable urgency to his game.

Kaden Snitzer (2023) | Eagleville

Eagleville’s next great guard is likely Kaden. In the game against Gordonsville, Kaden made clear his potential. Kaden’s devotion to fitness is already apparent midway through his sophomore academic year. He is stronger than his peers physically. For EHS Kaden plays purposeful, quick, solid. He can handle the ball under pressure while making calm, efficient decisions. The defensive end is not a weak spot. Many young guards fail to hold up their end of the bargain defensively. It takes time to develop mental discipline needed to contribute on that end, but Kaden understands the system well and does not take plays off.

Bearden vs. Cleveland: December 1

[player_tooltip player_id="775566" first="A.J." last="Pruitt"] (2021) | Bearden

Bearden is back in a big way! [player_tooltip player_id="775566" first="A.J." last="Pruitt"] can tell you about the good times (spring 2018) and the bad times (fall 2019) as he played massive minutes throughout. Pruitt fought in the wars. Facing Cleveland Pruitt scored 15 points to lead the way.

Nolensville vs. Fairview: December 3

[player_tooltip player_id="983727" first="Davin" last="Watkins"] (2021) | Nolensville

The continued improvement of [player_tooltip player_id="983727" first="Davin" last="Watkins"] is noteworthy. He played alongside with two impactful seniors last year that will be missed. Now a senior, Watkins is certainly a leader. Watkins scored 13 points in the blowout win over Fairview. Good frame. Needs more commitment to weight room in order to play college basketball.

Riley Byron (2021) | Nolensville

Riley managed 15 points against FHS.
