2022 standouts:

[player_tooltip player_id="1078720" first="Trey" last="Pettigrew"] Eduprize/AZ (Pictured)

-A three level scorer makes it look easy during stretches. He has a clean stroke from the 3pt line plus can pull-up any time. He has a polished floater game and seems to collect 2-3 steals per game using his good size with quick hands and feet.

[player_tooltip player_id="827003" first="Micah" last="Pierce"] Phheonix Prep Heat

-An out of area rebounder has a live body. He has a relentless pursuit to corral the ball at its highest point. He is a fluid athlete and is consistent around the hoop. He actually made a layup at the buzzer of regulation to send the game to overtime vs Eduprize. He is slowly extending his range out to the 3pt line.

[player_tooltip player_id="976833" first="Kemp" last="Van Es"] Phheonix Prep Heat

-The junior guard is becoming a true specialist from deep. He has range from almost half court and comes with a stronger frame. He showed nice body control on a full court sprint with the ball in his hands and finished around opposing defenders. He makes good decisions with the ball and works hard.

2023 standouts:

[player_tooltip player_id="937182" first="Royce" last="Ramos"] Phheonix Prep Heat

-A physical forward is very strong and he smartly uses his body to score it around the rim. He is a natural rebounder getting good position and uses his strength plus he is a good passer. He can shoot it to the 3pt line plus rip through and can score it a variety of ways with a nice floater. Stock is up.

Marqui Worthy 6’4 W Veritas Prep/CA

-A strong and athletic wing is very tough to handle. He can take contact and score through it. He can throw it down on the break and battles hard on the defensive end with his strength and longer arms.

Guillermo Navarro-Shuffler PG 5’10 Veritas Prep/CA

-A super fast and quick pure PG is a defensive ball hawk from Panama. He has unreal lateral quickness and locks in on his opponents. He uses his speed to get into the lane and is developing his jumper.
