12 teams from across Georgia met at Cass High School for the Create The Culture Classic. Nine of the 12 teams were ranked in the Top 10. Here’s who stood out from the star-studded event.

2021 6-3 Keyshaun Fleetion – St. Anne-Pacelli

A jumping jack on the wing, Keyshaun Fleetion had a terrific showing at the CTC Classic, proving he was more than just an athlete. Fleetion got the job done all over the floor. He hit two threes, went 4-4 from the line and of course finished at the rim. Fleetion’s leaping ability makes him a valuable defender. At 6-foot-3, he finished with a double-double of 16 points, 10 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocks. He’s a player that is starting to put it all together. Small schools should have his name circled.

2021 6-5 [player_tooltip player_id="948589" first="Travis" last="Harper"] II – St. Anne-Pacelli<img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-1048672 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/09/IMG_6723-1-150x150.jpg" alt="[player_tooltip player_id="948589" first="Travis" last="Harper"]" width="150" height="150" />

[player_tooltip player_id="948589" first="Travis" last="Harper"] worked hard for his offense but when the ball did drop, it was on some pretty plays. Harper had a powerful two-handed poster dunk, a nifty footwork bucket inside, a few mid-range pullups and some tough hoops at the rim. Deuce finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. He is getting closer to becoming a finished product and D-I and D-II schools are in a recruiting war for his services. His ceiling is high; just wait till he starts filling out his frame – scary.

2022 6-6 [player_tooltip player_id="870189" first="Zaylan" last="Chaney"] – Cass

[player_tooltip player_id="870189" first="Zaylan" last="Chaney"] provided a consistent source of offense for the Colonels in a loss to Spencer. Chaney was equipped to play against Spencer with his mix of size and athleticism. Zay got a lot of his offense at the rim, getting downhill and staying aggressive on the glass. He showed off his trademark finger rolls and helped handle the ball against pressure. Chaney posted 18 points, 7 rebounds and 1 steal.

2022 6-5 [player_tooltip player_id="1047091" first="Kasheem" last="Grady"] – Mt. Pisgah

At 6-foot-5 with some lean muscle already packed on, [player_tooltip player_id="1047091" first="Kasheem" last="Grady"] looks the part of a covetable young prospect. He was a noteworthy performer against Allatoona. Grady had 15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. He had a big dunk baseline and then helped ignite a Patriot comeback with two late threes. He’s got some projectable attributes that bode well for the next level. He’s got length and athleticism and can guard 1-3. Offensively he’s more of a slasher, but he proved he could hit big shots from the perimeter when needed. Grady is getting great experience playing with a senior-laden Mt. Pisgah group. He and [player_tooltip player_id="1049036" first="MJ" last="Winter"] will likely be the lead dogs next year.

2021 6-4 [player_tooltip player_id="869638" first="Kevin" last="Taylor"] – Allatoona

How many times do we have to say it? [player_tooltip player_id="869638" first="Kevin" last="Taylor"] does everything on the court. Everything. His defense was paramount in Allatoona’s win over Mt. Pisgah, stripping away numerous layup attempts. Taylor is a competitor that can do damage without scoring. He had 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Held to 3 points in the first half, he exploded for 14 in the second in front of Earlham College who came in from Indiana to watch him.

2022 6-5 Brayden Baker – Richmond Hill

It’s [player_tooltip player_id="1011329" first="Jaeden" last="Marshall"]’s team but Brayden Baker will be ready to take the mantle at the end of the season. The two are very different players. Baker is a great shooter that can score it in multiple ways. He has good patience when probing the defense and can use his height to shoot over defenders. Baker is a really smooth driver that can finish through contact once he turns the corner. With his size and shooting touch, Baker will be a hot prospect this time next year.
