<p>Prep Hoops Missouri continues its conference preview with a look at the North Central Conference. It should a very competitive year in the league as Kirksville won a district title and advanced to the Class 4 state quarterfinals. Fulton has a very talented group of underclassmen while Mexico and Hannibal also look to be competitive.</p>
<h4>Earl’s Preseason Starting Five</h4>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="981137" first="Noah" last="Copeland"] 6’4" Kirksville: The talented forward led the xx to the state quarterfinals. He scored 36 points in the state sectionals against St. Dominic.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1070116" first="Courtland" last="Simmons"] 5’11" Fulton: A quick 2023 guard who was an impact player as a freshman. He can score and he excels in the transition game.</p>
<p>Isaiah Reams 5’11" Mexico: A smooth lefty 2022 point guard who earned All-Conference honors last season after averaging 13 points, six rebounds and four assists a game.</p>
<p>Jaisten Payne 5’10" Moberly: A talented 2022 guard who earned All-Conference honors after averaging 17.6 points a game as a sophomore.</p>
<p>Dylan Kinney, Kirksville: A returning 2021 guard who was an All-Conference performer. He is one of the top 3-point shooters in the conference.</p>
