<p>With California hoops not having many opportunities for exposure the Prep Hoops team made the trip to the BTI Bubble to get a look at a ton of great prospects from all levels. Covid-19 tests were done before the event with great caution and care being taken. Take a look at the athletes below, which are all being under recruited due to Covid-19.</p> <table class="Bs nH iY bAt" style="width: 100.46403712296984%; height: 1956px;" role="presentation" cellpadding="0"> <tbody> <tr> <td class="Bu bAn"> <div class="nH if"> <div class="nH aHU"> <div class="nH hx"> <div class="nH" role="list"> <div class="h7 bg " tabindex="-1" role="listitem"> <div class="Bk"> <div class="G3 G2 afm"> <div id=":136"> <div class="adn ads" data-message-id="#msg-f:1685404629112150401" data-legacy-message-id="1763c2949d075981"> <div class="gs"> <div class=""> <div id=":144" class="ii gt adO"> <div id=":p3" class="a3s aiL "> <div dir="auto"> <blockquote> <div dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr"> <blockquote>Nigel McKay 2021 Pasadena Wing  <div> </div> <div>There is a lot of potential with McKay as a big-time shot-maker from mid and three-point range. The way he moves on the court is robotic at times but look past that to see the beauty in his game. The shot-making ability, the battle for boards, quick feet on defense, and overall hustle will win you over. </div> <div> </div> <div>Jincho Rivera 2021 St. Joseph Wing (Committed to Chicago State)</div> <div> </div> <div>Rivera is a big physical Wing with a near college-ready body. The drive worked very effectively for him with his strong grasp of the ball. At first, I wondered what was his shooting level, then in the second half, Rivera exploded for a spurt of three-pointers. The microwave can get hot from distance quickly. Chicago State is getting a winner. </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>Adam Hinton 2021 Harvard Westlake Wing </div> <div> </div> <div>An Army offer was just received by Hinton before I saw him play for the first time at the BTI Bubble. I was intrigued coming in to see if the hype added up with the level of the player? My questions were met with hard real answers on the court. Hinton is a great athlete on the Wing with a solid handle. He does not have to rely solely on his jumper shot but can fill it up when needed. Transition is where Hinton separates from the pack getting out and running to gaps in the defense for easy buckets or pushing the pace to an open teammate. Hinton controls his body well on both ends, especially on the defensive end. It is easy to see why he is hearing from high academic Divison I universities with the high IQ he displays on the floor. Hinton is a Low to Mid Major prospect that is suffering from the lack of D1 coaches who have seen him play in person. The level of athlete he is jumps out in person much more than on a video. Size, smarts, hustle, and determination make Hinton a can't miss player for Ivys, Patriot, or any west coast low to mid-major league. Lastly, Hinton and I had some time to chat after the event wrapped up. Instantly, I gained a further appreciation for him as he holds a conversation as a wise young adult speaking with great wisdom for a high school prospect. The college that lands Hinton will gain not just a player, but a leader. </div> </blockquote> <div> </div> </div> </div> </blockquote> <div dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr"> <blockquote> <div>Keith Higgins 2021 <span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Chaminade Guard (</span><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Lehigh)</span></div> </blockquote> </div> </div> <blockquote> <div dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr"> <div> <span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Higgins game was on display at the BTI Bubble. Higgins plays with high level poise, confidence and efficiency on the offensive end. He’s can score at all three levels and has functional athleticism and speed. Lehigh Coach Brett Reed is getting a terrific prospect.</span></div> </div> </div> </blockquote> <div> <p>Jake Shapiro 2021 Winward Combo Guard </p> </div> <div> <p>Shapiro has tons of transferable next level skills. Shapiro has benefited from playing at Winward HS and in the super tough Gold Coast League. He’s got unwavering confidence and presence to go along with his shooting and play making skills.Super quick and consistent three point threat that also made plays off the bounce.</p> </div> <blockquote> <div dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr"> <blockquote> <div> </div> <div>Reid Neuman 2021 Loyola Wing </div> <div> </div> <div>Neuman is another prospect who I feel needs to be seen in person to understand the impact he brings to the floor fully. He is certified by me as every bit of 6'6 on the Wing. The long, lanky frame of Neuman helps him to score from all three levels on the basketball court. In space, Neuman thrives attacking the basket relentlessly. On defense, the effort showed through blocks and especially on the boards. </div> </blockquote> <div> </div> <blockquote> <div>Samuel Bazunga 2021 St. Joseph Forward </div> <div> </div> <div>This young man was the glue to his team willing to do whatever it took to help them get a victory. Over the weekend you saw him display his ability to move laterally extremely well totaling up to many good defensive stops. He made his presence felt inside blocking shots. As an undersized big he was willing to do all the gritty things to push his team over the top. He will help a college program win. </div> </blockquote> <div> </div> <blockquote> <div>Collin Ferrell 2021 Providence Wing </div> <div> </div> <div>Ferrell caught my eye with his jumper instantly. The confidence he exudes is as if his shot is going to go in the basket each time he pulls the trigger. Ferrell was never scared of the moment to get his team a bucket. Primarily, I saw him thrive from behind the arc, but he can score in the other phases of the game too. </div> <div> </div> </blockquote> </div> </div> Brady Dunlap 2023 <span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Harvard Westlake Wing</span> <div> </div> </blockquote> <div> <blockquote>Dunlap was the find of the event for me I really love his game. He is every bit of 6'7 with the ability to play on the Wing, or as four in certain offenses. Versatile is a great way to describe Dunlap. He is a projected high major kid in my mind due to all the positive things he brings to the floor. He scored it all all three levels, was competitive constantly on the boards, fought over screens on defense, and most of all he knows the game. You can see just how well he knows the game from how he maneuvers on the floor. If he had live periods in 2020 he would already have a lot more attention from schools. High Majors to Mid Major+ programs should give him a strong look.  <div> <blockquote> <div dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr"> <blockquote> <div> </div> </blockquote> </div> </div> </blockquote> Tim Rudovskiy 2023 Sierra Canyon Wing </div> <div> </div> <div>Rudovskiy is fairly new to the United State, but he will not be a stranger to college for long. He is a very skilled long, lanky Wing. His killer jumper rippled through my mind seeing him hit several shots in a row. What most impressed me was his ability to hit contested jumpers. Rudovskiy can drive inside with a solid handle of the rock and mix it up. Towards the end of the contest Rudovskiy got a defender on his feet with a pump fake and made an easy move to the bucket for two. Offense is only part of the equation here as he clearly provided some length in the passing lanes to help his team pick up stops. Rudovskiy is a sure fire D1 player the level will be decided on how much he improves over the coming years. </div> <div> <blockquote> <div dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr"> <blockquote> <div> </div> </blockquote> </div> </div> </blockquote> Osiris Nalls 2023 Viewpoint HS Point Guard </div> <div> </div> <div>Nalls brings a ton of energy to the court non-stop on both ends. One of the kids you would love to coach with the intensity and detail he brings each second of the game.  Creator is the best way to begin his game on offense. The vision he displayed was nice included with some high level passes. Getting to the rim was primarily the way he scored. It seemed he was always around the ball making plays.</div> <div> </div> <div>Nico Ponce 2022 Alemany Point Guard </div> </blockquote> </div> </div> <div>When I say Ponce was on fire I really mean it. He made seven three-pointers in the single game I saw. After doing some research I found he shot over 51% from three last year as a sophomore. Ponce is someone to take a strong look for anyone looking for a Point who can flat out fill it up. <span class="im"><br /> </span></div> <div dir="auto"> <div> <blockquote> <div>Dre Roman  2022 St. Joseph Point Guard Point Guard</div> </blockquote> </div> </div> <div dir="auto"> <div> <blockquote> <div>From Puerto Rico, Roman shocked me with his age being so young because his body appears very close to college ready. Considering he has two years of high school left that is darn impressive At every bit of 6'4 200 pounds, Roman provided very great ball and body control with the rock. He seems to know the perfect mix of when to drive and finish versus when to hit an open teammate. I enjoyed his balance, which led to great team success. He shoots it good enough to always keep the defender on their toes. Roman is projected by me to the Mid Major level. </div> </blockquote> </div> </div> <div dir="auto"> <blockquote> <div>Isaiah Brewington 2023 <span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">Campbell Hall Forward</span> <div><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;">When I say 6'7, 240 I mean it with Brewington. Inside he brings toughness, grit, want to, and hustle. Brewington instantly got the nickname "Little Big Baby" from me as he has a game similar to former NBA player Big Baby Davis. Brewington was huge on the boards, especially on the offensive end. The high activity he showed on defense led to big stops. In the 2023 Class, Brewington has tons of upside to be a sure fire D1 guy. </span></div> </div> </blockquote> </div> <div dir="auto"> <div> <blockquote> <div> <div dir="ltr"> <div dir="ltr"> <div> </div> </div> </div> Parker Jones 2022 Loyola Wing </div> </blockquote> </div> </div> <div dir="auto"> <blockquote> <div>Jones is a 6'6 stud Wing with tons of upside largely based around his scoring abilities at all three levels. He can really shoot it well from distance. Jones is a sure fire D1 guy I honestly believe it will come down to how much he is able to get in front of college coaches. Once you see his size, scoring, high IQ for the game it becomes a no brainer. Jones was very consistent in the games I saw him, which is another thing I love you know what you are going to get with him game in and game out. </div> </blockquote> </div> <blockquote> <div dir="auto"> <div> <div>Robert Hinton 2024 Harvard Westlake Combo Guard</div> </div> </div> </blockquote> <div dir="auto"> <div> <blockquote> <div>Standing at an impressive 6'3 2024 Guard, Hinton is one D1's should earmark for that class. Hinton is a great playmaker who made winning plays for his team. Not only can he do the flashy he brings his hard hat and is willing to do the small things as well. </div> </blockquote> </div> </div> <div dir="auto"> <div> <blockquote> <div>Aaron Powell 2024 Campbell Hall Point Guard</div> </blockquote> </div> </div> <div dir="auto"> <blockquote> <div>Powell is a very intriguing athletic Point Guard that clearly studies the game in great detail. The way he competed against older kids instantly made him stick out. He has some fire to his competitive side. Powell is another to earmark at the D1 level in the 2024 class. The way he can create and make instant offense with the ball in his hands is elite. </div> </blockquote> <div> <blockquote> <p>Kyle Beedon 2021 Campbell Hall Combo Guard</p> </blockquote> </div> <blockquote> <p>He was one of the better shooter scorers in the BTI Bubble and has many of the the top academic D3’s on him. During a typical year he would be in the mix with some high academic D1’s. Beedon has a quick trigger off the bounce and can make deep 3’s. Not just a bucket, but Plays with grit and toughness on the defensive end.</p> </blockquote> </div> <blockquote> <p>Jacob Pofsky 2021 Guard </p> <p>Pofsky is the current assist leader in the BTI Bubble and showed his vision, unselfishness playmaking skills all weekend. He’s a creative passer, than can also score. Was impressed with his vertical athleticism and bounce.Another highly sough after recruit for high academic colleges. </p> <p>Jacob Davis 2021 Westlake Wing </p> <p>He was one of the more efficient players at the BTI Bubble.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Davis had a super quick and accurate 3 point stroke. He was very efficient off the dribble, got to his spot and knock down his mid range jump shots. Played with a motor, he moved with out the ball which lead to buckets off of cuts and offensive rebounds</p> </blockquote> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table>
