Non-Public A may not have had as much success as Non-Public B, but it is still a group filled with talent. Bergen Catholic and St. Peter’s Prep are two of the top programs in North Jersey, while St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Joe’s Metuchen are good teams in Middlesex County. St. Augustine forward [player_tooltip player_id="1012958" first="Keith" last="Palek"] committed to the University of the Sciences yesterday, creating one less available player in the group. St. Thomas Aquinas’ [player_tooltip player_id="850512" first="Josh" last="Rivera"] is a talented prospect, but he will be doing a prep year and be in the 2022 class. Here are the top available Non-Public A prospects in the 2021 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="900357" first="Nicolo" last="Nobili"], 6’9 PF Paul VI

The Eagles will be one of the top teams in South Jersey this season and Nobili is a big reason why. The Italian native plays with great footwork around the basket and has a good touch around the basket. Nobili can handle the ball on the perimeter and is one of the top post passers in the class. He has a good release on his jumper and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Nobili is a skilled post prospect who should make an impact at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="900318" first="John" last="Horner"], 6’6 SF St. Augustine

Horner had a great summer as he improved in all assets of his game. The 6’6 forward attacks the basket with a purpose and is unafraid to finish above the rim in traffic. Horner has a nice touch close to the basket and is a good shooter from distance. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is a good post defender. Horner’s versatility on the offensive end makes him an intriguing prospect for the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="900290" first="DiAri" last="Duncan"], 6’8 PF Bergen Catholic

The Crusaders need a post presence to stand out this season and Duncan looks to be the guy. The 6’8 post player is a rugged forward who does not mind to mix it up in the paint. Duncan loves to finish above the rim and knows how to set screens in the half court. He uses his athleticism to swat shots around the basket and is tough to box out on both ends. Duncan is a physical power forward who is ready to have a strong senior campaign for Bergen Catholic.

[player_tooltip player_id="900324" first="Jaylen" last="Boyd-Savage"], 6’3 CG Paul VI

Nobili is not the only big-time Paul VI player available as Boyd-Savage is also uncommitted. The 6’3 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he uses his athleticism and body control to make tough layups. Boyd-Savage is a play-maker when he gets into the lane as he can get to the rim and makes good decisions with the ball. He is one of the top on-ball defenders in the class and can run the offense in a pinch. Boyd-Savage is a talented combo guard whose should make an impact at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="900317" first="Kyree" last="Henry"], 6’0 CG St. Thomas Aquinas

The Trojans were the top team in Middlesex County last season and they are looking to do it again with Henry returning in the backcourt. The 6’0 combo guard is one of the top available shooters as he is capable of burying triples in bunches. Henry has a quick release on his jumper and knows how to move off the ball. He moves his feet well on the defensive end and is an underrated passer. Henry is a big-time shooter whose ability to knock down triples will make him valuable at the next level.
