In week two of high school hoops, which forwards grabbed our attention with standout performances?

[player_tooltip player_id="880007" first="Josh" last="Crubaugh"] - New Berlin Eisenhower - 2021: A guy that gets it done, always finding ways to be productive. Connected on some looks from way outside the arc. Made a superb full-court pass in the second half, and also had an energizing block.

[player_tooltip player_id="953944" first="Milan" last="Momcilovic"] - Pewaukee - 2023: Not sure he missed more than three shots tonight. Just a lethal scoring machine, finely tuned in many skills. Killed the defense with his fadeaway jumper. Drilled a handful of threes. He’s a perimeter player at 6’7”, but when he creeps into the paint he’ll make put-backs and contested layups that enhance his versatility.

Amari McCottry - St. Thomas More - 2024: Got to see McCottry on film, and he’s a player that’ll certainly appear in the 2024 rankings. Already 6’5” with a freakish wingspan, he's able to use his length on both ends of the floor. Right now, I like his ability to create his own shot and his creativity in the paint. Interested to see how he develops over his high school career.

[player_tooltip player_id="865841" first="Donovan" last="Sparks"] - Nicolet - 2022: Sparks is a prospect that knows how to score in the lane. He scored 8 straight points for Nicolet against Port Washington, as he's able to use his size and scoring instinct to make tough shots look easy. He’s a thorn to any defense that struggles playing help defense down low.

[player_tooltip player_id="701973" first="Grant" last="Asman"] - Kimberly - 2021: A much better defensive player than I’ve noticed in the past. Had a monster block early in the game against Oshkosh West. His footwork on the perimeter should turn heads, too. He could stick with guards beyond the three-point line, preventing them from getting anywhere by keeping his arms out and staying in front.
