Triad First 48 County Clash Standout Performers

<p><i>On Saturday morning we made the trip over to Winston-Salem to check out the First 48 County Clash. The event gave players from different counties in the Triad, an opportunity to compete for bragging rights as to which county has the best hoopers. There was plenty of talent in the building so let’s dive right into some of the standouts from the event</i>.</p>
<p>Team Forsyth 2021 6’5 Forward <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1070055" first="Daniel" last="Fulp"]</b> is a strong athletic player that showed some ability to shoot the outside ball. He is a high percentage player that understands how to play the game to his strengths and put together one of the top performances of the day with 23 Points & 12 Rebounds.</p>
<p>Team Davison 2021 Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="574478" first="Jamarien" last="Dalton"]</b> is a downhill guard that causes all types of issue for defenders due to the fact that he is constantly aggressive. He provided a nice amount of scoring for his team as they would win the Event championship with a win over Team Forsyth.</p>
<p>One of the best PG performers on the day was Team Davie/Yadkin 2022 Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="577860" first="Zaharee" last="Maddox"]</b>. He’s a quick guard that understands how to use his speed to break down a defense and make the correct play. Does a nice job of not only scoring the ball but finding teammates for easy buckets.</p>
<p>Team Davie/Yadkin 2021 Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="1070056" first="Luke" last="Williams"] </b>has solid overall talent, He has a nice natural feel for the game, and doesn’t try to do too much. Always has his head and eyes up and moving, which allows him to make the correct play. His shooting form isn’t the best looking but he’s efficient with the attempts that he gets.</p>
<p>Team Guilford County 2021Guard <b>[player_tooltip player_id="838051" first="Zion" last="Connor"]</b> was impressive throughout the day, showcasing his ballhandling skills as well as making some big time buckets. He doesn’t back down from challenges, has sneaky athleticism and simply loves to compete each possession. </p>
