<p>Highlighting the depth of talent in the state this year is the 3A division. With back-to-back state Champions Churchill County losing several key starters, the 3A state title seems to be as wide open as any. With a D1 signee and one of the top juniors in the state, 3A is loaded this year. In this article, we take a look at the top assist leaders from the 3A conference. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927138" first="Lucas" last="Walker"] <em>5’11 PG Moapa Valley 2021 (#46PHN 2021)</em> <em>(featured image)</em> - Walker had a big year last season. The playmaking PG proved that he can do more than just score the basketball, evident by his 6.1 assists per game last season.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="985583" first="Avery" last="Strasdin"] <em>6’1 CG Churchill County 2021 (#67PHN 2021)</em> - Strasdin does a little bit of everything for the two time defending champs. That includes setting up teammates. The playmaker averaged nearly 3.2 assists per game last year. </p>
<p>Ethan Flynn 5’9 PG Truckee 2021 - The diminutive PG was one of the top table setters in 3A last season. He returns after averaging 3 dimes per game last year. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="927131" first="Matt" last="Morton"] <em>6’5 SF Boulder City 2021 (#30PHN 2021)</em> - To highlight Morton’s versatility look no further than his assist totals. The dynamic wing showed off his facilitating ability by averaging almost 3 assists per game last year. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="985592" first="Will" last="Barnum"] 6’0 PG Virgin Valley (#87PHN 2021) - Barnum makes the list after an impressive Junior Season. He showed that he has skills other than scoring as he averaged almost 3 assists per game last year. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="986769" first="Andrew" last="Lehmann"] 6’0 PG South Tahoe 2021 (#23PHN 2021) - The sharpshooter also spent some time hooking up his teammates with dimes. Lehmann averaged almost 3 assists per game to go along with his over 40% shooting from behind the arc. </p>
