<p>The upcoming high school basketball season is full of anticipation with everything going on in the Garden State. Players are looking for opportunities to impress college coaches with the early signing period going on. The Olympus College Showcase was a great opportunity for players to show their talents against good competition in front of college coaches. Here are the top stock risers from the Olympus College Showcase.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1012952" first="Devin" last="Benson"], 6’0 CG Camden 2021</strong></p>
<p>Benson had a strong showing at the showcase, proving that he was one of the top players at the event. The 6’0 lefty was firing on all cylinders as he buried numerous triples throughout the night. Benson showed his ability to hit shots off the dribble and rarely forced the issue on the offensive end. He made good decisions with the ball in his hands and played solid on-ball defense. Benson is an under the radar guard who will make an impact at the next level.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900319" first="DaSean" last="Lopez"], 6’3 CG Wildwood Catholic Academy 2021</strong></p>
<p>Lopez was all over the floor at the showcase as he showed his versatility. The 6’3 guard made several beautiful passes throughout the session, including a one-handed 40-foot bounce pass in transition. Lopez was a pest on the defensive end as he he did not allow ball-handlers to get comfortable when he was defending them. He attacked the basket strong and knocked down a couple perimeter jumpers. Lopez is a tough guard prospect who does what it takes to win on both sides of the ball.</p>
<p><strong>Omarion McNeal, 6’6 PF Wildwood 2021</strong></p>
<p>McNeal was a force at the showcase as he was trying to break the rim every time he attacked the basket. The 6’6 forward loved to finish above the rim, but he also showed a nice touch around the basket. McNeal showed his ability to handle the ball on the perimeter and was able to hit a couple jumpers. He was tough to keep off the boards and altered shots on the defensive end. McNeal is an active forward prospect who will make plays on the offensive end. </p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="900318" first="John" last="Horner"], 6’7 SF St. Augustine 2021</strong></p>
<p>Horner had himself a day at the showcase as he was doing damage in a couple of different ways. The 6’7 forward was aggressive attacking the basket as he had a ferocious poster dunk during the live session. Horner was able to get position down low and has a good touch around the basket. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is a solid passer. Horner is a skilled forward prospect who will make an impact at the next level with his ability to score in different ways.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1024752" first="Christian" last="Mangrum"], 5’11 PG South Brunswick 2021</strong></p>
<p>Mangrum was dynamic with the ball in his hands throughout the showcase as he was pushing the ball in transition. The 5’11 guard was a blur with the ball in his hands and was able to get by his defender with consistency. Mangrum made good decisions with the ball in his hands and is a crafty finisher around the basket. He played with quick hands on the defensive end and is a good on-ball defender. Mangrum is a quick lead guard prospect who is ready for a big senior season for South Brunswick.</p>
