A lot of players at Let’s Get Ready IV showed that, despite the pandemic, they have been hard at work improving their games from where and what they were in the spring. Let’s look at some of those players.

[player_tooltip player_id="811111" first="Malachi" last="Black"] (2021, F, United Prep)

Black is going to be a monster this season. The athletic rim protector and finisher added a smooth jumper to his game which will make him a huge weapon offensively.

[player_tooltip player_id="814628" first="Lavell" last="Brodnex"] (2021, G/F, Saginaw)

Brodnex just keeps getting better in all facets of his game. He’s super athletic off the wing and is at his best when attacking the rim.

Christopher Coleman (2021, G/F, Carrollton)

Coleman has been hard at work and it shows. He looks a lot more comfortable with his jumper, even from behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id="1068135" first="Nick" last="Ellis"] (2022, PF, Grand Ledge)

Ellis has a lot going for him as a player and he established himself as a next level prospect at Let’s Get Ready IV. He showed a great understanding of how to play a pick and roll and the understanding and ability to get open in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="1067862" first="Jeremiah" last="Henderson"] (2021, PG, CMA)

Henderson played with a confidence and swag that seemed to translate to his on court skills. He didn’t hesitate to attack his defender and challenge them to stop him.

[player_tooltip player_id="814649" first="Josh" last="Rechsteiner"] (2021, SG, Grand Blanc)

Rechsteiner joined some elite company and won the Let’s Get Ready IV 3 point contest. You don’t get that pure of a stroke by standing around and wishing. He’s obviously been putting in work.

[player_tooltip player_id="987644" first="Tyran" last="Thomas"] (2022, SG, Northview)

Thomas is a tough and bouncy 2 guard that isn’t afraid to throw his body around in the paint. Thomas is quite simply a different player than he was 6 months ago.

[player_tooltip player_id="863922" first="Brady" last="Titus"] (2022, PG, Tri-Unity Christian)

Titus just keep proving himself and continues to expand and grow his game. He’s always been a quintessential floor general, but this summer he’s shown that he’s an elite 3 level scorer to go with it.

Brent Wiles (2021, SG, New Haven)

I’m not sure if it’s improvement or just people like me finally noticing when I should have some time ago. Either way, he’s got to be in this article. Wiles is an under rated athlete that plays with a charge and a chip on his shoulder.
