<p>Prep Hoops made the drive from Summerton to Spartanburg for the opening round games at the Impact Sports Invitational. Prep Hoops makes this trip every year to Spartanburg Christian Academy for the Impact Sports Invitational. Lets take a look at the first round games and recaps before diving into the performances today. </p>
<p><strong>Mauldin HS 74 vs Boiling Springs HS 54 </strong></p>

<p>The Mauldin HS Mavericks the defending champions from last year at the Impact Sports Invitational came out very sluggish. The Mavericks fell behind 6-0 before waking up. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927514" first="Nic" last="Williams"]</strong> led the way with 23 points, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1017696" first="Drake" last="Downs"]</strong> 22 points and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="569888" first="James" last="Cooper"]</strong> 19 points. </p>

<p>The Bobcats had no troubles with the Raiders. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="840231" first="Jared" last="Rogers"]</strong> led the Bobcats in the season opener with 25 points. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930603" first="EJ" last="Evett"]</strong> added 17 points while newcomer <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865291" first="Jaxon" last="Burnette"]</strong> added 7 points all in the 4th quarter. </p>
<p><strong>KD Mosley</strong> led the Raiders in the loss with 10 points. </p>
<p><strong>Byrnes HS (Duncan) 73 vs Irmo HS 52 </strong></p>
<p>The Rebels came out on fire and led 10-2 before the Yellow Jackets could blink. Irmo HS was playing without point guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="594075" first="Dylan" last="Williams"]</strong> who was sidelined with a injury. The Rebels had a very balance attack in scoring all night long. <strong>Jesse Singh</strong> led the way with 13 points, <strong>Malik White</strong> 12 points, <strong>Tay Bruton</strong> 8 points and freshman <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1032164" first="Will" last="Fowler"]</strong> added 6 points. </p>

<p><strong>Spartanburg Christian Academy 59 vs Wren HS (Piedmont) 54 </strong></p>

<p>The defending SCISA Class 2A State Champions returned to the floor for the first time since late February. The Warriors held off a feisty Golden Hurricanes squad. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="746991" first="Bryson" last="Bishop"]</strong> led the charge with 16 points, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1006296" first="JP" last="Duke"]</strong> 15 points and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="927578" first="Sam" last="Wheeler"]</strong> added 11 points. Bishop connected on 4 three pointers while Duke made 3 from downtown. </p>
