The first annual HoopDreamsMag.com High School Combine was held in Stoughton, MA at the Dana Barros Basketball Club. The event hosted some of the best prospects from New England. The entire combine was full of energy from start to finish providing an outstanding platform for the participants.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081862" first="Troy" last="McKoy"], 6’6" Wing 2023, Windsor HS - Troy showcased his ability to get downhill and finish at the rim. He’s aggressive on both ends of the floor. Troy presented a tough matchup because of his ability to shoot from the outside and create off the dribble attacking the paint while absorbing contact. His length and size overwhelmed defenders most of the night.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081859" first="Reid" last="Ducharme"], 6’6" SG 2023, Nobles & Greenough School - Reid seemed to have grown a few inches since I've last seen him in October. He continued to show why he’s one of the most versatile players in his class. He was able to score from three-levels with a high fluid release. It’s easy to get caught up in his high-flying dunks but his overall skill set is what sets him apart.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081789" first="Kyle" last="Hicks"], 6’3" CG 2022, New Hampton School - Kyle is a do it all guard with the skill and explosiveness to match. He’s a quick-twitch prospect and shifty ball handler. When you combine this with his quick first step he’s almost impossible to maintain on the perimeter.

Austin Hunt, 6’5" SG 2023, St. Marks School - Austin possesses excellent positional size, athleticism, and an overall feel on the basketball court. He shot it well from the perimeter throughout the day. He has a fluid release with no wasted motion and moves well off the ball. He's an unassuming athlete who finishes well above the rim when the opportunity presents itself.

Joe Thomas, 6’5" PG 2023, MacDuffie - Joe possesses court vision and skill which complimented his size. He’s an outstanding decision-maker who protected the ball and limited turnovers. He converted on a number of drives and connected from the perimeter. He’s a prospect to watch as the season progresses.

Tyler Betsey, 6’6" Wing 2024, Windsor HS - Tyler’s size was eye-catching compared to most in his age group. He displayed a high-level offensive feel as a scorer and playmaker. He shot it well from the perimeter off the dribble and from the catch. He showcased a soft touch on his runner. He had the highest ceiling in his class during the combine.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081868" first="Tre" last="Norman"], 6’3" PG 2023, Worcester Academy - Tre is a strong physical point guard who possessed an understanding of game tempo and finding early scoring opportunities. He made excellent decisions with the ball as a playmaker. He found his spots on the floor and shot it consistently throughout the night proving to be a major scoring threat.

[player_tooltip player_id="1081817" first="Marvin" last="Musiime-Kamali"], 6’7" Forward 2022, Thayer Academy - Joe was one of the better athletes in the gym. His goal was to dunk everything. He showed flashes on the offensive end but his ability to rebound and contest shots are far ahead in his overall development.

Jaaden Simpkins, 6'2" PG 2023, Thayer Academy - Jaaden displayed quickness, high-level athletic potential, and the ability to change his shot in mid-air. He has a soft touch on his runner and floater. He was one of the more advanced defenders in the gym.
