GHSA Season Preview: Player Rankings 2021

As the 2020-21 GHSA high school basketball season quickly approaches we will breakdown each classification based on our updated player rankings, highlighting the Top 100.

With the state’s smallest classification having a limited amount of ranked players, we expand our look beyond the Top 100 into the entire rankings. No. 15 Mannie Harris is head and shoulders above the competition and should have a monster year, but does he have enough support to get Mitchell County to Macon? No. 90 [player_tooltip player_id="869609" first="Tykevious" last="Curry"] battled with Harris last season and helped sweep Mitchell County in three games. Curry already has one state title ring and will look to add one more his senior season. The defending state champs don’t have the highest ranked prospects but their toughness and ability to win big games makes Hancock Central the prohibitive favorite to repeat. No. 159 [player_tooltip player_id="1036813" first="Jamal" last="Taylor"] and No. 165 [player_tooltip player_id="1043313" first="Leroy" last="Wilson"] lead a Bulldog team that returns the majority of its starting lineup.
