<p><strong> </strong><strong>GHSA Season Preview: Player Rankings 2021</strong></p>
<p>As the 2020-21 GHSA high school basketball season quickly approaches we will breakdown each classification based on our updated player rankings, highlighting the Top 100.</p>
<p><strong><u>Class 5A</u></strong></p>
<p>With just 11 seniors in the Top 100, Tri-Cities boasts three of them: No. 4 [player_tooltip player_id="869578" first="Peyton" last="Daniels"] (Vanderbilt), No. 81 [player_tooltip player_id="1045712" first="Chancelor" last="Johnson"] and No. 96 [player_tooltip player_id="869620" first="Davon" last="Cottle"]. The Bulldogs will be a heavy favorite this season with an experienced cast coming back. No other team places multiple players in the Top 100 highlighting the fact that the talent for the most part in the 2021 class, is spread out. Nine teams see representatives. Defending 4A state champ Woodward Academy places Belmont-commit at No. 37, a far gap between he and Daniels. Region 3 (Tri-Cities & Woodward Academy) has four players in the Top 100. Region 7 holds No. 45 [player_tooltip player_id="806746" first="Jax" last="Bouknight"] and No. 91 [player_tooltip player_id="1004876" first="Jackson" last="Price"] (The Citadel). Region 8 showcases No. 40 [player_tooltip player_id="869602" first="Kalib" last="Clinton"] (Charleston Southern) and No. 99 [player_tooltip player_id="1047101" first="Cam" last="Lee"].</p>
