Varsity Scrimmage Evaluations: Week 8
Sean Gallery Sean Gallery 6'2" | SG Maine South | 2021 State IL – Maine South – 2021
Athletic combo guard who plays above the rim and has a smooth release from three off the catch or dribble. Causes havoc on defense and in passing lanes with his quickness and IQ.
Julian Campbell Julian Campbell 6'6" | C Palatine | 2021 State IL – Palatine – 2021
Throwback 5-man with an offensive lineman frame. Rim level finisher with soft touch under the basket. Space eater and area rebounder in the paint. Showed ability to score off 1-2 dribbles with back to basket or facing up from the mid post as well as shoot the three.
Daniel Chaidez – Lane Tech – 2021
High motor wing-forward that dominated the glass on both ends and can guard multiple positions on wing and interior. Best when attacking the rim and showed ability to hit threes off the catch.
Louis Novelli – Lake Forest – 2021
Plus shooter off the catch with deep range. Heady fundamental guard. Able to create space for shots off the dribble and find open teammates for plays. Willing to stick nose in on the boards.
Sophomore Scrimmage Evaluations: Week 8
Zach Izraeli – Lincoln Park – 2023
Long wing and adept slasher that can guard multiple positions. Scored it at all 3 levels consistently in both games and flashed ability to score in mid post with back to basket. At his best off the bounce, attacking the rim, and finishing with contact.
Jamie Davis – De La Salle – 2023
Athletic combo guard with a very quick first step. Deadly when he gets to his midrange spots. Ability to post up smaller guards and score with back to basket. Consistently knocked down threes in both games.
