SubscribeThe modern game is becoming more perimeter oriented with an emphasis on three-point shooting. Players have adjusted accordingly as many of them have a jumper in their arsenal. The A-Game Fall Shootout showcased a lot of good shooters as they helped their teams throughout the weekend. Here are the top 2025 shooters from the A-Game Fall Shootout.
Amere Brown: Team FCAA Elite, Pittsburgh- Team FCAA Elite came out running from the start in the 8th Grade Gold final and Brown played a part in that. The 5’8 guard was making it rain from distance early as he helped extend the lead into double digits early against Team Durant. Brown shot the ball with confidence as he drilled a pair of pull-up triples in the final. He has a quick release on his jumper and does not rush into it. Brown is more than just shooter, but his ability to connect from distance is very useful for his basketball career.
Dylan Buchalter: Heart over Hype, Baltimore- Buchalter did a little bit of everything for Heart over Hype, but his shooting stood out the most. The 5’10 guard sets his feet before he shoots and knows how to move off the ball. Buchalter has a quick release on his jumper and is unafraid of taking the big shot. He has a good mid-range game, but Buchalter’s three-point shooting is something that should carry over into his high school career.
Noah Hargrow: Team Select NYC, NY- Hargrow had a strong showing at the A-Game Fall Shootout as he demonstrated his all-around game. The 5’6 guard has a tight handle which he used to create separation for himself on the perimeter. Hargrow has a quick release on his jumper and shot the ball with confidence. He had a couple of four-point plays over the weekend and has a nice touch on his floater. Hargrow is a lead guard who should have a solid high school career.
Gabe Hormvergger: WER1, Philadelphia- Hormvergger was the driving force for WER1 over the weekend as he showed his offensive ability. The 6’1 wing played under control and did not force many shots from distance. Hormvergger has a nice shooting form and his range extends to the three-point line. He can finish around the basket, but Hormvergger’s shooting will get him on the floor early in his high school career.
Jeremiah Lee: Wiz Kids, Bronx- Lee saved his best performance for last as he had a big game in the 8th Grade Orange final. The 5’8 guard has a sweet shooting stroke and shot the ball with confidence. Lee also has a quick release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He steps into his jumpers and is always ready to shoot when the ball is swung his way. Lee is a knockdown shooter who will be burying triples throughout his high school career.
