Victor will help anchor what should be an excellent defense for the Warriors. He plays bigger than 6’2" and it shows up in his rebounding ability on both ends of the court. He was very efficient a season ago, even shooting 55% from 3-point range on limited attempts. He has potential to be a real floor-spacer as a senior leader.

[player_tooltip player_id="964888" first="Kole" last="Johnson"]

Height: 6’2" High School: N. Fayette Valley 2019-2020 Pts./Reb./Ast.: 14.4/7.2/2 FG%/3FG%/FT%: 61/25/70

As a junior, Kole showed excellent effort each night and brought some newfound skills. His footwork could be a little clunky at times, but was much improved from his sophomore campaign, and will continue to smooth out with more repetition. He developed more of a back-to-the-basket game in the paint, and it will be exciting to see the next evolution of that this year.

[player_tooltip player_id="964901" first="Caden" last="Thomas"]

Height: 6’5" High School: Wapello 2019-2020 Pts./Reb./Ast.: 14/6.2/1.2 FG%/3FG%/FT%: 57/43/72

Most of Caden’s impact I witnessed came on the defensive end. He scans the court well and reads the eyes of the offense, which makes him an excellent off-ball defender. Wapello’s coaching staff allowed him to sort of roam in certain situations, and he wreaked havoc using his length and instincts. He was efficient at every level, and his next step is to develop some post moves. Sometimes he lives on the perimeter too much, but I understand when you can shoot it like he can as a big man.

[player_tooltip player_id="965120" first="Sam" last="Fischer"]

Height: 6’2" High School: Humboldt 2019-2020 Pts./Reb./Ast.: 13.1/9.7/1 FG%/3FG%/FT%: 54/15/79

Sam did an excellent job of competing on defense. Even a bit undersized, he provided great rim protection for Humboldt last season. He has active hands and can cause a few turnovers if an offense gets pass-happy in the lane. He struggles to create his own offense but he is good for production each and every night.

[player_tooltip player_id="964942" first="Umar" last="Bullis"]

Height: 6’2" High School: Clarke 2019-2020 Pts./Reb./Ast.: 16.7/8.9/2.5 FG%/3FG%/FT%: 50/25/55

Umar put together a terrific season as a junior, scoring nearly 17 points per game, and leading his team in total rebounding. He is ferocious when attacking the glass. He has strong hands that rarely fumble the ball, so if he gets hands on it, 9 times out of 10 he is coming down with it.

[player_tooltip player_id="964945" first="Avery" last="Bryant"]

Height: 6’3" High School: GMG 2019-2020 Pts./Reb./Ast.: 15/8.5/1.2 FG%/3FG%/FT%: 46/27/55

Avery led his GMG squad in points and rebounds last season, and it’s likely he’ll do the same again. He does the early work for a lot of his points, fighting for post position and attacking without hesitation. He will often leak out behind his defenders on a break securing easy points that way, too.
