The top 4 seniors to look out for this high school season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1076621" first="Tre" last="Watson"] 6’8 - Cleveland (Featured)

[player_tooltip player_id="1076621" first="Tre" last="Watson"] is a very explosive all around athlete. Watson not only plays basketball very well but also plays football with the same intensity. In fact, Tre has committed to Fresno State for football. I have been watching [player_tooltip player_id="1076621" first="Tre" last="Watson"] for some time and I could tell you he is not short of impressive on the court. His large size gives him an advantage from other 6’8 guys. Watson is very strong and can get to the rim very easily. He has a very high basketball IQ and sees all areas of the court. He can shoot the long ball well but his true strengths lie in his ability to get to the rim and play above the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="1076622" first="Evan" last="Gonzales"] 6’0 - Cleveland

[player_tooltip player_id="1076622" first="Evan" last="Gonzales"] is a top guard in New Mexico and is poised for a breakout senior year. He has very high basketball IQ. When you watch Gonzales on the court you see his leadership ability. Evan’s ball handling is an elite level. He is a shifty point guard who can score from all three levels on the court with efficient shot movement, spacing and decision making. He is a high percentage long ball shooter who can get to the rim when he needs to. His ability to read screens, drive to the basket and kick out to the open teammate is at one of the highest levels I’ve seen.

[player_tooltip player_id="1076623" first="Nathan" last="Hasberry"] 6’4 - Cleveland

A long 6’4 wing who is an outstanding defender. Hasberry has the ability to lock up high level guards and his fast hands allow him to get a lot of steals. He is a strong perimeter shooter but his true strength is mid range. [player_tooltip player_id="1076623" first="Nathan" last="Hasberry"] is the guy you put in when you need a bucket. In fact, most of his buckets end up being and one’s. He gets to the rim with ease and can play above the rim very well. [player_tooltip player_id="1076623" first="Nathan" last="Hasberry"] is a hidden gem. A true D1 prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id="1076624" first="Junior" last="Hodnett"] 6’3 - Rio Rancho

One of the most fundamentally-sound, athletic shooting guards in New Mexico. He pulls out all the stops offensively, fulfilling the shooting guard position extremely well. If you give Hodnett any space he will punish you for it. He isn’t afraid to shoot the ball from any location on the court whatsoever. Hodnett is the kind of shooter who needs to see the ball go through the basket. Once he is comfortable it’s lights out. Also, a great defender, Hodnett averages a large percentage of steals. [player_tooltip player_id="1076624" first="Junior" last="Hodnett"] is a tenacious versatile multi-talented athlete.
