The Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo in Grand Rapids was an elite collection of talent at all levels. There were some very talented post players from the junior and senior classes. Let’s take a look.....

[player_tooltip player_id="814616" first="Kipras" last="Blazevicius"] (2021, 6-5, F, West Bloomfield)

Blazevicius has a future as a college basketball player if he so chooses. He offers a program a versatile forward that can play vertically and make an impact in a variety of ways.

[player_tooltip player_id="811132" first="Logan" last="Carson"] (2021, 6-10, PF, Buchanan)

Carson is extremely under rated in my opinion. I feel like he has the skills and potential to play Division 1 college basketball. Carson can bang in the paint as well as put the ball on the floor from the high post.

Matthew Coffey (2022, 6-6, PF, Mount Clemens)

Coffey is an intriguing next level prospect with solid potential. He’s more athletic than often given credit for and he’s a heady player that makes high percentage reads.

[player_tooltip player_id="1067859" first="Owen" last="Hardy"] (2022, 6-8, PF, Forest Hills Eastern)

Hardy was outstanding at the Top 250 and proved that his name belongs among the top posts in the junior class. He was very effective working the paint in Grand Rapids.

Michael Justice (2021, 6-7, PF, Troy Athens)

Justice has really come on strong since this spring and had a very nice grassroots and camp seasons. Justice moves his feet and has the strength needed to compete down low.

[player_tooltip player_id="1067861" first="Sam" last="Leppien"] (2022, 6-10, F/C, Alma)

Leppien has a ton of potential in the low post. He finishes strong when given a path and uses his height and length on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id="864001" first="Gryphon" last="Mayes"] (2022, 6-5, F, Pinckney)

Mayes has become a very versatile threat on the basketball court. He can defend in the paint as well as on the perimeter. He has a smooth game that should translate well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1067860" first="Jalen" last="Overway"] (2022, 6-9, PF, Holland Christian)

Overway was one of the top performers at the Top 250. He was willing to battle with any post player at the event. Overway showed some nice back to the basket work on the offensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id="863999" first="Nic" last="Stump"] (2022, 6-5, PF, Grand Haven)

Stump continues to impress at these events. He will make a college coach very pleased some day. Stump defend in the paint, even when a bit undersized.

Caden Vanden Berge (2022, 6-5, PF, Forest Hills Eastern)

Vanden Berge is a versatile 4 that can play outside-in or inside-out. He’ll be a tough match up night in and night out.

[player_tooltip player_id="814572" first="Blake" last="Woodward"] (2021, 6-8, F/C, Romeo)

Woodward is a beacon of strength in the paint. He uses his power to move his opponent and establish position. If you play Woodward, you know you’re in for a physical battle.
