Top 250 Expo: 2022 Forwards

<p>The Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo is officially in the books for this year. Lets take a look at some 2022 Forwards from the event in this article right. The Prep hoops Top 250 Expo took place this past weekend in Myrtle Beach at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center. </p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/10/FB7F7FD6-5D2D-42B7-A34E-EC0193CE4A3F.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1067589" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/10/FB7F7FD6-5D2D-42B7-A34E-EC0193CE4A3F-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1017696" first="Drake" last="Downs"] - Mauldin HS </strong></p> <p>Downs is really starting to figure out things with his play this summer. Downs will see quality minutes this coming season for the Mavericks. Downs is versatile enough to play out on the wing or he can play with his back to the basket. Downs has good hands and mobility around the cup. Downs should see his recruitment take off here really soon. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1017697" first="Josh" last="Linder"] - Spartanburg HS (pictured on the front)</strong></p> <p>Linder looks like he might of grown a tad more since we saw him last during the Grassroots season. Linder a long and rangy forward runs the floor very well. Linder is a quick leaper off the floor and has ability to alter and challenge shots on the defensive end. Linder finished almost everything here today around the basket. Djoussa has a good look to him already with his frame. Djoussa plays very comfortable facing-up to the basket and knocking down the 16-18 foot jumper. Sumpter is a long and rangy forward. Sumpter has been at the small SCISA Class 1A school for the past 3 years. Sumpter is quick off the floor and has the ability to block shots. Sumpter runs the floor very well in transition. Saragba really can make room in the post with his ability to work block to block. Saragba finished over both shoulders today with his play. Onley is currently playing football for the 8-man Eagles football team. Onley has a good look to him but and length. Onley didn’t play any Grassroots Circuit ball this summer to my knowledge. Onley is a late bloomer for sure down the road for the SCISA Class 1A Eagles. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="976898" first="Jeb" last="Fickling"] - Andrew Jackson Academy (Ehrhardt) </strong></p> <p>Fickling is making some strides over the past year. Fickling a left-handed forward still must stronger and battle through contact around the paint. Fickling seems to be more of a defensive post player right now than offensive. </p>
