This was a massive event and tons of seniors from 6 different states were able to showoff their talent and skills to over 120 college coaches that watched both in-person and virtually. Over the next few weeks, we are going to breakdown each team and evaluate each player from that team. Today, we look at Team 10.
Team 10:
Damarie Moore – 5’11″ PG – Downers Grove North IL:
Moore is a short lead guard that has a calm playing style. Not overly energetic but is smart with his decision making when he has the ball in his hands. So smooth with everything and sees the floor extremely well. Can shoot a little as he had three 3’s on the day. Is for sure a true lead guard that passes the ball real well. Finished with 13 points overall.
Coleman Sater Coleman Sater 6'4" | SF Edgewood | 2021 State IN – 6’3″ SG/SF – Edgewood IN:
Sater is a combo forward that is so tough and physical. Has a very strong and powerful style of play. Can score all over on offense but looks like he prefers to take it to the rim. Very good rebounder as well. Type of of defensive player that can guard both the wing and post. Finished with 20 points and had an overall solid performance.
Zane Burke Zane Burke 6'2" | SG Blackhawk Christian | 2021 State IN – 6’4″ SG – Blackhawk Christian IN:
Burke is a tall shooting guard who can really put up some points and be a high level scorer. Very quick and does so well both on and off the ball. Drives well but is probably at his best when he can create his own jumper. Good defender and had a few steals on the day. Finished with an impressive 28 points. Burke was one of the best players at this showcase and is bound to start getting a ton of offers here soon.
Kendall Smith Kendall Smith 6'8" | SF Muskegon Reeths-Puffer | 2021 State MI – 6’7″ PF – Reeths-Puffer MI:
Smith is a true post player that can stretch the floor a bit. Rim protector on defense and has the ability to step out and guard the wing. Can score from all three levels and has a high release on his shot. Solid on the pull-up jumper. Finished with 18 points in total and had a couple of 3’s. One of the more impressive showings from a big at the showcase.
Nolan Kelley Nolan Kelley 6'0" | SG Cloverdale | 2021 State IN – 6’1″ PG – Cloverdale IN:
Kelly is a shooting guard that plays real fast and has a ton of energy. On offense, he does a good job in balancing a drive and shoot game. Solid jumper and there seems to always be a chance he can get hot at any moment. Has enough handles to be able to create long term but is likely going to play off the ball. Very smart player off the court with GPA of 3.50. Finished with only 9 points in total but looks to be some potential there.
Logan Willoughby – 6’2″ SG – Whiteland IN:
Willoughby is a slightly bigger shooting guard who has solid strength. Can shoot it a little as he had one 3 on the day. Aggressive defender and uses his strength well to go against the bigger players. Smart player off the court with a GPA of 3.68. Finished with with a solid 13 points on the day. Should be in for a good senior season.
Jabari Scuefield Jabari Scuefield 6'3" | PG Perspectives Msa | 2021 IL – 6’3″ SG – Perspectives Charter IL:
Scuefield is a big guard that has great shot blocking ability. Tough player that gets to the line very well. Can shoot the ball a little but looks to be better at driving from the wing. High end scorer that finished with a nice 27 piece in total. Has an incredible GPA of 3.74. Great player both on and off the court.
Jake Moynihan – 6’6″ PF – Seton Catholic IN:
Moynihan is an athletic stretch 4. High end scorer that can score at all three levels. Crashed the glass very well on both ends and likes to get physical down low. Long player that has just improved each year it seems. Finished with 20 points on the day and arguably could have been placed in the group of underrated players at this showcase. Should see a huge senior season from Moynihan.
Qati Dalipi Qati Dalipi 6'5" | PF Westmont | 2021 State IL – 6’6″ SF/PF – Westmont IL:
Dalipi is a big player that can play both the wing and post spots. Real nice touch around the rim and can step out and shoot it if he needs to. Not overly athletic but uses his power more as his advantage. Protects the rim well on the defensive end. Finished with an impressive 23 points and does have a 3.00 GPA off the court. Feel like there is some more potential in Dalipi that has yet to be unleashed.
