Four teams played in a tournament style setting that crowned one winner after two games. Here are some quick notes for each player at camp, broken down by team.

Effective when aggressive. Uses speed to put pressure on defenders. Got to the basket. Able to play at a fast pace. Did a great job rebounding. Set up teammates with his passing.

6-6 F Eli’sha King – Tri-Cities
Solid glue guy. Helps out in a variety of ways. Rebounds and can defend 3-5. Sank a three-pointer. Low maintenance player that doesn’t need the ball to be effective.

2022 6-4 W Tremain Davis – North Cobb Christian
Didn’t look for his offense much. Was very impactful as passer, racking up 4 assists in each of his two games. Steady role player for his team that defended and did things that didn’t show up in the box score.

6-4 W [player_tooltip player_id="869638" first="Kevin" last="Taylor"] – Allatoona
Son of a coach. High IQ player. Takes pride in his defense. Able to move his feet and stay in front of most. Consistent scorer. Hit 2 threes in each of his two games. Provides some toughness.

6-6 F DeAndre Smart – New Hampstead
Workhorse in the paint. Daily double-double. Scores through contact and rebounds in a crowd. Can attack off the dribble from the perimeter when matchups present themselves. Tough to stop on the block. Has been one of the offseason’s biggest revelations.

6-0 G Nfari Benjamin – Rabun Gap
Great tools. Lightning quick first step. Outstanding athlete that explodes to the basket. Can outjump most. Could become a stingy defender. Can help out more on the glass. Showed three-point range.

5-9 PG Tucker Lowe – Pickens County
Smart floor general that gets others involved. Drilled 3 threes in each of his two games and averaged 11 points on the day. Runs the floor and keeps his head up when he ignites the fast break. Scrappy defender.

6-3 G Kenny Colwell - Stephens County
Impressive stroke. Found spots in the mid-range and knocked down shots. Plays hard. Chipped in on the glass and attempted to draw charges on defense. Good outlet passer. Sank three threes. Where he lacked in quickness, he made up for in other areas. Strong showing.
