The Southeast Basketball Academy held a free 40-man nonprofit showcase for rising seniors. A faith-based message surrounding hope in troubling times was the keynote. Four teams played in a tournament style setting that crowned one winner after two games. Here are some quick notes for each player at camp, broken down by team.

6-3 W [player_tooltip player_id="1020674" first="Jordan" last="James"] – Kennesaw Mountain
Lefty has a unique game. Has a positionless feel to his game. Strong wing with a funky shot but is accurate from deep and can catch fire. Can score with his back to the basket on the block and overpower smaller guards. Uses his strength to rebound at a high rate and can even block some shots. He’s a three-level scorer and overall producer.

5-9 PG Makayl Rakestraw – East Jackson
Veteran point guard has seen major minutes since freshman year. Bulky playmaker can bully defenders out of the way when he wants to get into the teeth of the defense. Can score when needed but likes to defer to others in showcase settings. Stuffs the stat sheet across the board with a nice overall floor game.

6-6 F [player_tooltip player_id="1047094" first="Cameron" last="Baldwin"] – Allatoona
Played with confidence throughout the day. Brought great energy on both sides of the ball. Attacked off the dribble, scoring the ball but also facilitating. Reliable rebounder and all-around defensive standout. Got into passing lanes and blocked shots. Long-armed forward is at his best when he’s aggressive on both ends.

6-4 W [player_tooltip player_id="1047102" first="Justice" last="Devone"] – Douglas County
Big guard can play positions 1-3. Made an impact at camp with his defense, earning multiple steals throughout the day. Has the size and skill to cut through the defense and score at the rim.

6-1 SG [player_tooltip player_id="1020671" first="Dylan" last="Pumpian"] – Walton
A true shooting guard that is one of Georgia’s premier three-point specialists. Dropped in four threes in his first game. Has a picture-perfect shot that is compact and to the point. Gets his feet set and finds open spaces around the arc to pepper defenses.

6-3 CG Jamison Winters – Chapel Hill
Big guard that can play either on the ball or off it. Impressed with his offensive versatility. Showed the strength to get to the rack when he wanted. Knocked down a pair of threes and had some nice pull-up jumpers from the mid-range. Still managed to create scoring chances for others with his advanced court vision.

6-2 CG [player_tooltip player_id="1020673" first="LePra" last="George"] – Sprayberry<img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-1032037 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/08/IMG_7054-150x150.jpg" alt="[player_tooltip player_id="1020673" first="LePra" last="George"]" width="150" height="150" />
Spindly point-producer scored in a multitude of ways. Slithers his way to the basket and can hang in the air to score. Three-point shot is accurate. Keeps the pressure on the defense. Smooth game.

6-6 F [player_tooltip player_id="948584" first="Franklin" last="Almonte"] – Dalton
Statistically the best rebounder in Georgia and Top 10 in the nation. Hit double digit rebounding at camp. High motor inside. Aggressive. Attacks every rebound and can alter shots inside. Scored on a fadeaway out of the post. Displayed a willingness to pass from the block.

6-5 F [player_tooltip player_id="1043316" first="Rashad" last="King"] – Evans
Athletic slasher. Plays a physical brand of basketball. Has the strength to score inside and is a tough rebounder. Good motor. Able to guard multiple positions on defense. Plenty of tools to work with.
