showed why he is worthy of a scholarship at the low major level during his play in the second session of the Commonwealth Basketball Grassroots Fall Series. Dana plays with an extreme motor and has tremendous versatility and athleticism that can be used for many low division one programs . Woodley also showcased a consistent jump shot throughout the day.
With not much AAU basketball this past summer and with the high school season being in question, Woodley wants to make sure he gets the most out of these high school events.
“I am just trying to get some good wins and some exposure. I want to make sure my team is getting out there and competing on every possession and get better as a team.”

being down, I have to pick it up even more with my energy. I now have a bigger role on this team with Roosevelt being hurt so I have to bring a lot of energy so my teammates can pick it up also.”
Woodley was one of the top offensive guys in the second session of the Commonwealth Basketball Grassroots Fall Series and he spoke about his offensive versatility.
“I just take whatever the defense gives me. I don’t like to force anything, I don’t like to show off or anything but just always play the game that I know how to play.”
