[player_tooltip player_id="1139647" first="Cole" last="Andrews-Heitz"] - 6’1 - Shooting Guard - Leader Rouse - 2023

[player_tooltip player_id="1139647" first="Cole" last="Andrews-Heitz"] was one of the most unstoppable slashers the expo had to offer. Anytime his hands touched the ball he was a threat to put it in the basket. Excellent in transition, elite lateral quickness with the ball in hand, covers ground well, doesn’t need many dribbles to get from one end to the other, has the ability to avoid traps and break a press by himself, and he can also push the ball up the floor with either hand at top speed. He showed great footwork on the drive, able to change speeds and directions on a dime, utilized hop steps and euro steps to get around defenders, and avoid contact. Cole’s a crafty and creative finisher that had no trouble attacking and finishing with his off-hand. His body control was highly impressive, he adjusts his body in mid-air through contact and traffic on difficult layups on a regular basis, using reverse layups and up and unders to convert below the basket. One thing about him that is for sure, if you let him inside I can almost guarantee you that he will find a way to score. [player_tooltip player_id="1139647" first="Cole" last="Andrews-Heitz"] is as smooth, efficient, and consistent as they come.

Kameron Williams - 5’11 - Point Guard - Harlan High School - 2024

Kameron Williams, a speedy point guard, everything he does is fast even his decision-making. Williams plays with a knack for getting into the teeth of the defense and finishing the play with a bucket or an assist. Williams is one of those point guards that always finds a way to touch the paint every single time he has the ball. A truly fearless attacker of the basket and seems to find space in the defense when there isn’t any there. His ability to consistently get deep inside the lane and contort his body through the defense to finish from all different angles was amazing to watch. His body control under the rim allowed him to find teammates and make tough crafty layups. In the open court, his speed was dangerous, his acceleration was fantastic, he picked up speed very quickly, and in the halfcourt his first step was lethal, and his blow-by speed was elite. Kameron Williams was a high-level offensive weapon for his team the entire day.

[player_tooltip player_id="1149125" first="Tyler" last="Stephenson"] - 6’10 - Center - Lockhart High School - 2021

This big man has a raw skill set that can be formed into something special. Great length on Stephenson, he has a phenomenal wingspan and standing reach and he used it greatly. Tyler got in good positioning on the defensive end when shutting off the paint and clogging the lanes, demonstrating the potential to become an elite rim protector. [player_tooltip player_id="1149125" first="Tyler" last="Stephenson"] blocked and altered several shots without even jumping, his size and reach cut off any view his opponents had to the basket. This 6’10 center is a player to keep track of this year during his senior season, you’ll likely catch him swatting shots away for Lockhart High School.

Caleb Gatson - 6’6 - Small Forward - MacArthur High School - 2022

This lengthy lefty was one of the purest two-way players I had a chance to see the whole day. Gaston can play and guard just about every position on the floor effectively. The use of his long arms, and quick reflexes, made him tough to get around at times. Caleb’s ability to get off the ground quickly made him a terror on the boards as well. This alongside his high-quality athleticism allowed him to do some very special things on both ends of the court. [player_tooltip player_id="1149318" first="Caleb" last="Gaston"] has high potential and a lot of upside to his game, he looks like he’s just scratching the surface.
