<p>There will inevitably be players who are missed in any ranking process. But with every update of a class list, new players are included as they establish themselves and get ‘seen’ around the state.</p>
<p>Four new players were added to the Kansas 2021 Player Rankings as centers.</p>
<p><strong>111 [player_tooltip player_id="1072885" first="Andrew" last="Piper"], Free State (pictured):</strong></p>
<p>The 6-foot-4 Piper has a big frame and plays with power in the post. He works hard and moves well without the ball. He gets his hands on the ball on defense and rebounds with tenacity. He also has some ability to face the basket and shoot as well as post up.</p>
<p><strong>118 [player_tooltip player_id="1072887" first="Grant" last="Ramsey"], Wichita Collegiate:</strong></p>
<p>Ramsey has a diverse game that allows him to play center, forward or on the wing. He can shoot from the perimeter, but excels in the post. The 6-foot-4 senior has good hands and scores in traffic. </p>
<p><strong>147 [player_tooltip player_id="1072893" first="Garrett" last="Athon"], Jefferson West: </strong></p>
<p>The 6-foot-4 Athon was a powerful presence for the Kansas Hoggs this summer, and is ready to step into a bigger role with Jefferson West this year. He is strong in the post and works hard on the boards. He moves well for a big guy and has good hands and touch on the ball.</p>
<p><strong>177 [player_tooltip player_id="1072896" first="Cade" last="Wilson"], Manhattan:</strong></p>
<p>Wilson didn’t see a ton of playing time for the senior-laden Indians, but got a lot of good experience with SSA Elite this summer. He’s a big body and hard worker in the lane. He plays bigger then 6-foot-3 and has good hands in the post.</p>
