2022 6-4 SG Jemahri Hill – Berkmar

Electric when getting to the rim, Jemahri Hill was not going to be denied when he turned corners and saw the tin. He’s got a smooth approach but can disappear from defenders when he switches gears. Hill is a highlight waiting to happen with his athleticism. Though he’s wiry, Hill has great functional strength and can finish through contact routinely.

2021 6-5 F [player_tooltip player_id="1049931" first="David" last="Giddens"] – Tucker

[player_tooltip player_id="1049931" first="David" last="Giddens"] showed a different side of his game at camp. Known for being a glue-guy and rebounder inside with Tucker, on Saturday Giddens displayed an improved offensive game that saw him spend time on the perimeter. Giddens served as a slasher, attacking from the outside and slicing his way to the bucket. His outside shot still needs work if he wants to transition to the perimeter full time, but it was a nice aggressive showing from Giddens.

2023 6-0 G [player_tooltip player_id="820316" first="Zak" last="Thomas"] – Fellowship Christian

Aggressiveness is never an issue for [player_tooltip player_id="820316" first="Zak" last="Thomas"]. The young guard is always looking for ways to the score the ball and put pressure on defenses. Even for his size, Thomas is adept and getting to the basket and drawing fouls. Zak’s strength helps him in traffic as both a scorer and a rebounder. He loves to stick his nose into a crowd and competes at a high level. He tossed in 12 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals in Game 1 at camp.

2023 6-2 SG Parker Smith – St. Pius X

Parker Smith turned heads with his three-point shooting. He has good size on the perimeter and has been in the weight room already as a sophomore. He found opens spots beyond the arc and cashed in his attempts. When he used the dribble, he was smart and moved the ball to the open man. If he shoots like he did Saturday, he could find himself in a key role this upcoming season.

2022 6-6 F [player_tooltip player_id="952581" first="Izaiyah" last="Nelson"] – Marietta

[player_tooltip player_id="952581" first="Izaiyah" last="Nelson"] continues to grow on and off the court. At 6-foot-6, he could finish the year 6-foot-7 or beyond. His stock is rising and a strong junior season could officially put him on college radars. Nelson has a high motor and is an exceptional rebounder and rim protector. On offense, he crashes the glass and can hit the three-ball. He’s shown some flashes of being able to put the ball on the floor and create his own offense by himself, but he still has a little more work to do. Nelson’s ceiling is among the best in his class. He had 13 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 4 blocks in a 61-54 loss at camp.
