Five teams who lose a number of key seniors from last season, but won’t fall off as much as expected in 2020-21...

Catholic Memorial

2018-19 Record: 11-14

Projected Starting Lineup

G [player_tooltip player_id="981149" first="Braden" last="McGlothlin"] - So.

G [player_tooltip player_id="1021593" first="Jackson" last="Green"] - So.

G [player_tooltip player_id="1021594" first="Antwan" last="Burns-Jones"] - So.

W [player_tooltip player_id="981027" first="Bennett" last="McCormick"] - So.

F Alex Oechsner - Sr.

The Crusaders lose their top seven scorers from last season, but there’s a lot of young talent waiting in the wings. This is a group that got hot in the playoffs and pulled off some big upsets last season. The sophomore core also plays AAU together and should be able to hit the ground running this winter...

La Crosse Central

2019-20 Record: 20-5

Projected Starting Lineup

G [player_tooltip player_id="990740" first="Devon" last="Fielding"] - Jr.

G Colin Adams - Jr.

W Porter Pretasky - Sr.

W [player_tooltip player_id="865862" first="Noah" last="Compan"] - Jr.

F W [player_tooltip player_id="1022499" first="Bennett" last="Fried"] - Jr.

The Red Raiders have their work cut out for them, trying to replace Jordan and [player_tooltip player_id="544493" first="Johnny" last="Davis"], now at Wisconsin, and [player_tooltip player_id="694793" first="Terrance" last="Thompson"], now at UW-Green Bay. However, Fielding and Compan both got valuable experience over the last two seasons. Fried is poised for a breakout sophomore season as well. Despite all the losses, this is a team that can still contend in the Mississippi Valley.

Wauwatosa West

2019-20 Record: 16-8

Projected Starting Lineup:

G [player_tooltip player_id="1021573" first="Colin" last="Hardrick"] - So.

G Terrance McLendon - Jr.

W Nicholas Barton - Jr.

F Nicholas Cavosi - Sr.

F Alec White - Sr.

The Trojans were one of the surprise teams in the state last season. Tosa West will have to replace their top three scorers, but have some leftover depth ready to emerge. Hardrick likely takes over the scoring load. McLendon and White have both paid their dues in this program as well and can help keep the Trojans relevant in a very tough conference.

Waukesha South

2019-20 Record: 3-19

Projected Starting Lineup

G Tyran Cook - So.

G [player_tooltip player_id="1026710" first="Daniel" last="Robinson"] - So.

G [player_tooltip player_id="761401" first="Marshawn" last="Robinson"] - Jr.

W Collin Molisee - Sr.

F Tommy Glenn - Jr.

The Blackshirts have been very young over the last two years and taken their lumps. They certainly won’t have a ton of senior leadership, but should take a substantial step forward. Waukesha South gets their top five scorers back. The Robinson brothers are also some of the bigger sleeper prospects in their respective classes.

Milwaukee Academy of Science

2019-20: Record: 20-3

Projected Starting Lineup

G Albert Harrell - So.

G [player_tooltip player_id="701998" first="Donald" last="McHenry"] - Sr.

W Damien Brookshire - Jr.

F Emmanuel Stoffel - Jr.

F Leon Zollicoffer-White - Jr.

Even without their two Division 1 players, the Novas should be very competitive. McHenry is one of the best-kept secrets in the state and a top 30 prospect in 2021. Zollicoffer-White is also a highly intriguing player with massive upside.
