First Team All State Potential 6”1-6”3

We have finished our candidates for all state honors. We have distinguished them by height. This group quite possibly can make first team all state.

Nick Folk Nick Folk 6'0" | PG Xaverian | 2021 State NY .  6”1.  2021.  Xaverian HS        

Xaverian and opposing coaches know how good Nick is but now outsiders are taking notice. College programs started calling last season and he is now a hot commodity on the recruiting list.  A extremely good shooter can score at all three levels. A Class AA 10th team selection last year will shoot straight near the top.

With an abundance of talent in New York State it is very hard to get two players from one program on the all state first team. In Shawn and Nick (above) you have that possibility. But the title of this report is potential and both Shawn and (Nick ) have the talent to make first team. Dynamic point guard. Excellent mid range game. Class AA Honorable mention last year will be on a top all state team this season.

Jack Baron Jack Baron 5'11" | SG Bayport blue point | 2022 State NY . 6”1.   2022. St. Francis  Prep HS

Once again we see Latiek and the next player (Todd) as two teammates that have the ability to make first team all state. Latiek has 2 years ahead of him and big things are expected from him. The total package. A great shooter who also finishes through contact. Extremely quick first step blows by his defender. Class AA 12th team last year, is a major riser.

This lefty is a winning player. Leadership qualities and high IQ player. Knocks down shots regularly. Excellent defender. Possesses all the intangibles will be a great get for the college that secures him. Ninth team class AA selection last year another rising star.

Jack Garside Jack Garside 6'2" | PG Kings Park | 2021 State NY .   6”3.  2021.   Kings Park HS

Selected last year to the class A 12th team. Will be a major riser on this year’s team. Really talented player. Can shoot the three and also get to the rim. Excellent pull up game. Coach is comfortable with a lead late with the ball in Jacks hands. A tremendous foul shooter who seems to make all the right decisions.

Malachi Moore   6”2.      2022        Copiague HS

Back in May Malachi was #9 on my list of Long Island Players. He could very well be in the top 5 at the end of the season. Strong desire to excel in everything  he does. Can guard 4 out of five positions in the high school game. Great court awareness.  Tremendous skill set. Was a class AA honorable mention last year will see his name rise up the list.

Tyshaun Trail.   6”2.  2021. John Bowne HS

A class AA 8th team all state last year will rise near the top. Tremendous in the open court. Can really shoot it but is an excellent slasher to the rim. Strong player finishes through contact. With talented teammates around him Tyshaun knows what it takes to win.
