[player_tooltip player_id="930643" first=<strong>"Cyrus" last="Ellison</strong>"] is a name to remember for the future. </p> <p><strong>Timmonsville HS</strong> - <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="747033" first="Christian" last="Taylor"]</strong> will need help and support this season for the Whirlwinds. Lewis a point guard is a great leader on the floor and a wide receiver on the football field. Lewis is the Prep Hoops Region Player of the Year this season. Lewis can penetrate the gaps and get the ball into the paint whenever needed. Lewis is been a part of the Golden Flashes since his 9th grade year for Head Coach Harris Avant.</p> <p>Lewis averaged 16.1 ppg, 4.3 assists, 3 rebounds and 3 steals last season for the Golden Flashes (20-2). Taylor a very athletic guard-forward didn’t play any Grassroots basketball this past summer. Taylor is a quick leaper and really plays every possession to the fullest. </p> <p><strong>Davian Coaxum (2021) - Hannah-Pamplico HS </strong></p> <p>Coaxum might be suited for the football field at the end of the day. Ellison is very versatile on the hardwood and can really defend well out on the perimeter. Ellison a bouncy athlete averaged 17.9 ppg and 8.9 rebounds last season for the Red Raiders. Ellison is a great team player and is extremely coachable on the floor. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1076821" first="Jace" last="Avant"] (2022) - Johnsonville HS </strong></p> <p>Avant a shooting guard plays for his father here at Johnsonville HS. Avant averaged 9.7 ppg last season while shooting 36% (34-95) from three point range. </p> <p><strong>Tavaris Dolford (2022) - Lamar HS </strong></p> <p>Dolford a undersized off guard won’t hesitate to pull-up from 25 feet at the times to shoot it. Dolford excels on the gridiron as a wide receiver for the Silver Foxes. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1076822" first="DJ" last="Bethea"] (2022) - Lake View HS </strong></p> <p>Bethea plays quarterback for the Wild Gators football team currently (5-0). Bethea a guard won’t see the basketball floor until football ends in Lake View which usually goes pretty late into the post season. </p>
