[player_tooltip player_id="811091" first="Pierre" last="Brooks"] II (SG, Detroit Frederick Douglass)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #2

Brooks has as strong of a basketball IQ as any player that I’ve seen in Michigan in at least a decade. So much so, that I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Michigan State commit strolling the sidelines for the Green and White someday.

[player_tooltip player_id="611423" first="Omar" last="Ziegler"] (CG, Detroit King)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #13

The great thing about Ziegler - He’s still getting better. His perimeter shooting has continued to improve and his leadership skills are top notch. Ziegler could be a difference maker at the next level.

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #25

[player_tooltip player_id="611432" first="JonMarcus" last="Roland"] (CG, UD Jesuit)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #42

Roland will be a leader on a skilled UD Jesuit squad. He has a well rounded game that is very under rated in the state. Roland is a 2 way player that’s tough to take off the floor with his defensive prowess.

[player_tooltip player_id="811111" first="Malachi" last="Black"] (PF, Detroit University Prep Art & Design)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #44

Black is a very intriguing prospect. He’s sort of a combo forward. He uses his athleticism and length to be a menace on D. Black is terrific in transition. He’s a nasty finisher that can change the momentum of a game at any given moment.

[player_tooltip player_id="814563" first="David" last="Hughes"] (PF, Detroit Edison)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #52

Hughes is a flat out power house. He finishes and dunks with anger, like he wants the rim to come off the backboard every time. In typical DEPSA fashion, he can get out in transition and be a threat at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="811114" first="Jaylen" last="Flaniken"] (SF, Detroit Edison)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #53

Flaniken is a terrific athlete with great ball skills off the wing. He has solid vertical speed that allows him to make the defense turn their hips and run. Flaniken is a diverse scorer as well, making him a threat from multiple levels.

[player_tooltip player_id="814571" first="Sterling" last="Blakely"] (G/F, Detroit Renaissance)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #99

Blakely is an excellent wing prospect. He moves without the ball and runs the floor well with a constant stride. Blakely is creative offensively and can score from multiple spots on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="814579" first="Jahlani" last="Thornton"] (F, Detroit Edison)

Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #117

Thornton is another athletic wing/forward at Detroit Edison. He can create off the dribble on the offensive end. Thornton has proven that he can battle in the paint as well. His game could take off next high school season.
