<p>The class of 2022 rankings were recently released. With over 75 players making the list, it’s our most exclusive rankings yet. This class is blessed with depth throughout, including in the post. In this article we break down our top Power Forwards in the c/o 2022. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="859662" first="Corbin" last="Dagons"] <em>6’5 Legacy (#31</em>) - Finesse 4 that likes to float around the perimeter. Dagons is one of the top stretch 4’s in the state. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="986843" first="Christopher" last="Smalley"]<em> 6’4 Douglass (#48)</em> - Smalley had a good year for the Tigers last season. The rugged forward averaged nearly 7 rebounds per game as a sophomore. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="928924" first="John" last="Derrick"] <em>6’6 Foothill (#52)</em> - Derrick is a player with loads of potential. A fluid runner who may be able to transition to the wing at some point, Derrick spent most of his time swinging between JV and Varsity last season. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="859658" first="Jacob" last="Berry"] <em>6’2 Canyon Springs (#65)</em> - Berry may be undersized in the height category, but he certainly has the frame to bang with the best of them. The bruising forward is a good low post scorer and defender.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1006755" first="Colson" last="Madruga"] <em>6’5 Lake Mead Christian Academy (#71)</em> - Madruga combines rugged toughness with a nice outside touch. Now fully healthy, expect the 6’5 power forward to play a major role for coach Nelson and the Eagles this season. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="787653" first="Malakai" last="Christian"] <em>6’3 Sierra Vista (#76)</em> - Christian saw limited time last season, but the 6’3 power forward showed what he could do in an 8 rebound performance against Durango. </p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="990584" first="David" last="Thurman"]<em> 6’3 Green Valley Christian (#77)</em> - Thurman helped lead GVC to a 17 win season last year. The highly skilled forward did a little bit of everything, averaging almost 10ppg to go along with 5 assist and 8 rebounds. </p>
