Offseason Accolades: 2023 Best Shooters

5-11 PG [player_tooltip player_id="1042849" first="Brandon" last="Rechsteiner"] – Atlanta Xpress (Wallace) – Etowah

Tough with the ball in his hands, [player_tooltip player_id="1042849" first="Brandon" last="Rechsteiner"] has the quiet confidence to shake down defenses and blast them from distance. He’s a great shooter that can also score from the mid-range and even hit turnarounds out of the low post. His pure stroke can carry Etowah for years to come.

5-10 G [player_tooltip player_id="820308" first="Charlie" last="Reisman"] – Atlanta Timberwolves – Gainesville

[player_tooltip player_id="820308" first="Charlie" last="Reisman"] is an accurate shooter. He does a nice job of staying engaged when he doesn’t have the ball. Reisman is a good fit next to older brother Robert and [player_tooltip player_id="1004877" first="Eli" last="Pitts"], a three-headed guard combination that all can shoot the three.

5-10 PG [player_tooltip player_id="820290" first="Keishawn" last="Hampton"] – Norcross Heat – Meadowcreek

Over the course of his young career, [player_tooltip player_id="820290" first="Keishawn" last="Hampton"] has already proven to be a big-shot maker. When its crunch time, Hampton has no second thoughts about giving his team a lift offensively. He’s a talented shooter that can draw out defenses, giving him driving lanes to create for others.

6-3 CG [player_tooltip player_id="598758" first="Amir" last="Green-Jones"] – Georgia Stars – Walnut Grove

Every time Amir Green fires from deep, you expect it to go in. The southpaw is a very accurate shooter that does damage in the corners. He has the ability to put the ball on the floor and find the open man, but make no mistake it's his lethal three-point stroke that scares opponents the most.

6-1 G [player_tooltip player_id="820283" first="Rodrigo" last="Farias"] – Double Trouble Elite – WD Mohammed

Absolute offense. [player_tooltip player_id="820283" first="Rodrigo" last="Farias"] has firepower for days. He has such a nonchalant demeanor about his game and makes it look so easy. He’s dances with the ball and shifts defenders just enough to give him the space needed to shoot. He’s a marksman from beyond the arc and slithery when he slides into the lane. He’s got a chance to have a breakout season at WD Mohammed. His offense is so dynamic. He may have designs on reclassifying to 2024, but after already playing one season at WD Mohammed, we will keep him here as a 2023 for now.
