Even though he’s usually never the tallest player on the floor, almost always [player_tooltip player_id="869594" first="Omarion" last="Smith"] is the best rebounder and shot blocker. He’s got an uncanny ability to collect caroms and is the state’s best shot blocker by a long shot. His timing, toughness and athleticism make him a premier interior presence.

6-6 F [player_tooltip player_id="1011331" first="Deandre" last="Smart"] – AC Georgia – New Hampstead

The high academic forward brings grown-man strength to the low block. He lives on the glass and commands attention. Smart always puts himself in position to clear the boards. He’s emerged as one of Georgia’s best rebounders and most consistent dirty work guys.

6-4 W [player_tooltip player_id="869638" first="Kevin" last="Taylor"] – NME – Allatoona<img class="size-thumbnail wp-image-1032020 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/08/IMG_6749-150x150.jpg" alt="[player_tooltip player_id="869638" first="Kevin" last="Taylor"]" width="150" height="150" />

If he’s not scoring, [player_tooltip player_id="869638" first="Kevin" last="Taylor"] still finds ways to impact games. He’s got a high motor and good IQ. Taylor’s energy and length allow him to play bigger than his size. I’ve always described him as a Swiss Army Knife. Whatever you need him to do, Taylor can do it.

6-5 W [player_tooltip player_id="1043316" first="Rashad" last="King"] – AC Georgia – Evans

A strong wing that plays extremely hard, [player_tooltip player_id="1043316" first="Rashad" last="King"] really clicked at the end of the travel ball season. He found is niche with AC Georgia as an energy guy that scores inside and out. Offensively, he’s a good slasher and offensive rebounder. King can step out and hit the open three to space the floor. His effort is what has really opened doors for him. Add on his athleticism and you have a plug-and-play guy at the next level.

6-5 F [player_tooltip player_id="869602" first="Kalib" last="Clinton"] – Game Elite Orange – Jackson County – Charleston Southern

Often overlooked during the high school season due to his team’s lack of success, [player_tooltip player_id="869602" first="Kalib" last="Clinton"] is the real deal. He posted 27 points and 10 rebounds per game a season ago and has been shattering school records. He’s quick off the floor with great second leap ability which helps him control the glass. Clinton does a lot of his damage in the paint and plays above the rim and bigger than his size.

6-6 PF [player_tooltip player_id="806717" first="Cole" last="Middleton"] – GA Select All-Stars – Pace Academy

[player_tooltip player_id="806717" first="Cole" last="Middleton"] is a road grader on the floor. He might be the strongest player Georgia has to offer or at least extremely close do it. He’s rugged with his physicality and can move anyone out of his way. He’s battled through injuries throughout his career but he hasn’t let that slow him down. Without Middleton, Pace Academy may not have woken up in last year’s state title game in which he was terrific going for a game-high 15 points in a defensive struggle.

6-3 F [player_tooltip player_id="1043314" first="Greg" last="Jones"] – Warner Robins All-Stars – Warner Robins

Another player that plays bigger than his size, [player_tooltip player_id="1043314" first="Greg" last="Jones"] mixes grit, toughness and some bounce to effectively clean the glass. Jones has some length as well and can dig out 50/50 balls. He understands his role and that he’s at his best when applying pressure to the interior.
