[player_tooltip player_id="731878" first="Noah" last="Swenson"], Oak Grove

Swenson has been a productive interior presence for Oak Grove each of the last two years. He’s a relentless rebounder on both ends of the floor, plays with great energy and has a good deal of skill both in the low and high post. And he’s capable of anchoring a team’s defense inside.

[player_tooltip player_id="750159" first="Bronson" last="Walter"], Four Winds/Minnewaukan

Walter is one of the toughest matchups in the state. His size is a weapon that he uses to his advantage, as he’s excellent at establishing low post position and burying defenders inside. And he’s an outstanding interior defender who protects the rim and does a good job defending without fouling.

[player_tooltip player_id="750172" first="Alex" last="Huber"], Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier

Huber is coming off a junior year in which he averaged nearly 20 points and seven rebounds for an EKM team that won the Region 3 title. At 6-foot-5, He has the inside-outside scoring ability to give teams fits, plus the athleticism to guard up or down a lineup. He showed a lot of those skills to the grassroots circuit, enjoying a strong run with ND Attack.

[player_tooltip player_id="750163" first="Keith" last="Levin"], Jamestown

Levin is one of the best two-way bigs in the WDA and has consistently gotten better and better in the last year plus. He’s a positive impact on any team he’s a part of because he defends and rebounds at a high level. And offensively, he’s a strong finisher around the rim, sets screens, and hits the offensive glass.

[player_tooltip player_id="750167" first="Nick" last="Kupfer"], Bismarck Legacy

Kupfer missed a big chunk of his junior season with an injury but when he’s healthy, he’s one of the best wings in the state. He’s an excellent slasher, who gets to the paint seemingly at will, and gets after people on the defensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="731900" first="Carter" last="Birrenkott"], West Fargo

Birrenkott enjoyed a solid junior season for the Packers and is one of the best faceup power forwards in the state. He’s got short-area quickness to abuse bigger defenders plus the strength and athleticism to punish smaller guys.

JaeShaun Shaw, Four Winds/Minnewaukan

One of the best two-way guards in the state, Shaw has been an integral part of Four Winds/Minnewaukan’s success each of the last three seasons. And he’ll have an even bigger opportunity to stand out on the offensive end as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id="731907" first="Stevan" last="Garza"], Grafton

Garza is one of the best lead guards in the 2021 class, possessing the size and smarts to control a game as well as just about anybody. He’s a strong perimeter shooter, a fluid slasher and a heady decision-maker. He’s got all-state potential as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id="750165" first="Joshua" last="Dixon"], Central Cass

Dixon is one of the best low post players in Class B and while he doesn’t have the same kind of size as some of the guys rated higher up in the rankings, he’s a highly effective player because of his combination of skill, footwork, touch and motor.

[player_tooltip player_id="731896" first="Colton" last="Konschak"], Hatton/Northwood

Konschak spent the grassroots season with ND Attack and is one of the best guards in Class B North Dakota. At 6-foot-5, he has a unique height advantage and puts it to good use as a facilitator, slasher and defender.

[player_tooltip player_id="750156" first="Justice" last="Coleman"], Bismarck Century

If he’s healthy, Coleman has the raw talent to be one of the best players in the 2021 class. He missed a majority of his junior season and the grassroots season though. At 6-foot-4, he’s got guard skills plus the athleticism and smarts to be one of the best players in Class A.

[player_tooltip player_id="750179" first="Evan" last="Ulrich"], New Rockford-Sheyenne

Ulrich enjoyed a breakout junior year for the Rockets and parlayed that into a solid summer showing on the grassroots circuit with ND Phenom. He’s an active big who rebounds his area and can score in the low post; and he’s added more and more to his perimeter game as he’s gotten older.

[player_tooltip player_id="750174" first="Max" last="Tschosik"], Bismarck

Tschosik is the definition of steady. The Bismarck lead guard was a key piece for a Demons team that reached the state semifinals last season and was effective in the grassroots season with ND Phenom. He’s a good perimeter shooter, a strong decision maker and a feisty defender.

[player_tooltip player_id="750155" first="Ian" last="Ely"], Bismarck Century

Ely struggled to shoot the ball for large stretches of the high school season but things opened up for him this summer playing with ECI. He’s got the ability to shoot it at a high level both off the catch and the bounce, and he brings good energy to the defensive end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="750169" first="Garrett" last="Meehl"], Oakes

Meehl is a catalyst for an Oakes team that should be a contender in Region 3. The 5-foot-11 point guard averaged 17 points, five rebounds and nearly five assists. He’s a decent 3-point shooter, gets to the paint regularly and makes the game easier for his teammates.
