If you missed it, Prep Hoops dropped its updated rankings for the 2021 class.

Here are a few guys who earned spots after being previously unranked:

[player_tooltip player_id="1046333" first="Hunter" last="Fletschock"], Drake-Anamoose

Fletschock was uber-productive during his junior season with Drake-Anamoose, averaging 16 points and six rebounds. He’s a matchup problem because at 6-foot-5, he’s got the athleticism and skill to create from the perimeter and the size and motor to produce in the paint. He’s a solid perimeter shooter and should be one of the best players in Region 6.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046334" first="Tyler" last="Thilmony"], Mandan

Thilmony was a solid complementary player for the Braves last season and parlayed that breakout into a strong summer with ND Attack. He’s a smart lead guard who can break down defenders, get to the rim and either finish or make plays for his teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046335" first="Kolby" last="Vander Wal"], Northern Cass

Vander Wal is one of the best two-way wings in the 2021 players and he’s shown that he can fit on just about any team with any player. He’s low-maintenance on the offensive end, excelling as a spot-up shooter, cutter and transition scorer and his ability to defend three to four positions makes him a positive impact player in any setting.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046343" first="Latrel" last="Davis"], Fargo Davies

Davis has been the victim of a loaded Fargo Davies roster the last two years as he’s yet to see much varsity time, but he’s heading into a senior year where he’ll have a big opportunity to shine. He’s 6-foot-3, long, athletic and skilled. He can shoot it from the perimeter and he’s got some playmaking ability that wasn’t always allowed to be on display with his AAU team. Don’t be surprised if he has a solid senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046338" first="Seth" last="Robinson"], Midway/Minto

Robinson is a jack-of-all-trades combo guard who can impact the game in a variety of ways. He’s got good size and length at 6-foot-2 and uses it to his advantage on the defensive end of the floor. He’s a skilled playmaker and capable of filling it up from just about anywhere on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id="1046336" first="Mason" last="Martinson"], Oak Grove

Martinson had a solid summer playing with the Dakota Schoolers, showing strong defensive chops to go along with a smoother perimeter jumper and the burst to get to the paint. He struggled with efficiency during his junior season but was solid otherwise. If he shoots it the way he did this summer, he’s going to be one of the best players in Region 1.
