Chris Schlesinger Chris Schlesinger 6'5" | PF Rock Canyon | 2022 State CO – Rock Canyon
Chris Schlesinger Chris Schlesinger 6'5" | PF Rock Canyon | 2022 State CO is someone who we did not get to see a ton this summer of but when we saw him he was very impressive. Chris is a true big guard, he is a lengthy 6’6, this allows him to bang inside which many other guards can not do. He also has a great handle on the ball, this allows him to pass bigger players and bully smaller guards. Also on the defensive end his length helps him guard big men and he has great footwork to stay with guards. Chris is also someone who straight up hustles, he is always on the mix with the trees going for rebounds and finesse tip ins. Chris is someone who college coaches should be on the look out for, a true difference maker on both ends willing to do the dirty work.
Aguir Dawam Aguir Dawam 6'7" | C Denver East | 2022 State CO – Denver East
Aguir Dawam Aguir Dawam 6'7" | C Denver East | 2022 State CO is a player transferring to Colorado who has very high upside. Aguir is a big man with great height at 6’8 who also is a very good athlete. This combination of height and athleticism allows him to be a great rim protector and a presence that makes opposing teams afraid to drive to the rim. Also he is someone who grabs offensive boards and finish inside. Aguir is big man who has some big time potential, I am excited to see how his game grows.
Elliot Cravitz- Colorado Academy
Elliot Cravitz is someone who went under the radar for a while but hopped onto the scene big time this summer. Elliot is one of the best shooters in the state being able to shoot off the dribble and set shots, is when he gets hot is very hard to stop. He also is a good athlete who pushes the pace with the ball in his hands, and also is a good facilitator always with his head on the swivel. Elliot also can finish well inside, he also has a very good floater/ mid range jumper game which you do not see many players go to anymore. Elliot will be someone to look out for this year to give 3A teams some trouble on how match up with him.
Remy Wedgeworth Remy Wedgeworth 6'0" | PG Overland | 2022 State CO – Overland
Remy Wedgeworth Remy Wedgeworth 6'0" | PG Overland | 2022 State CO is someone who we did not see on the Varsity court due to the transfer rule but showed out during the summer. Remy is a true floor general on the court. He controls the pace of the game very well, slowing down and speeding up the offense when needed. Remy is a player who can get score when attacking the rim but is always looking for open teammates. I can see Remy helping out this pretty young Overland squad next year with his calming presence he brings to the court.
DJ Johnson DJ Johnson 6'3" | SF D'Evelyn | 2022 CO – D’Evelyn
DJ Johnson DJ Johnson 6'3" | SF D'Evelyn | 2022 CO is a new player to Colorado, moving here from Texas. DJ coming into the state is one of the best athletes in the state already. He is crazy bouncy which allows him finish above and around the rim. When I first saw DJ he electrified his team when stepped on the court, he makes bug time impact plays; like having a huge dunk or block. He also has a bulk build which helps him bang inside and use his athleticism to fly over players for rebounds. DJ also has some turn around floaters he goes to where he just keeps floating in the air until the defender can not hang for almost uncontested shots. DJ has great building blocks to build his game around, and if he is able to get a consist jumper and better handle of the ball would be probably be towards the top of this class.
