The Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo is scheduled for October 4 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There are a lot of talented players that we’d like to see at the event. Below is an example of 12 of those players.

[player_tooltip player_id="611404" first="Kobe" last="Bufkin"] (CG, Grand Rapids Christian)

Bufkin has been to the Top 250 before. At the event he showed why he would eventually be 1 of the top prospects in the country.

[player_tooltip player_id="980697" first="Donald" last="Davis III"] (SF, Bendle)

If your’re a small college coach and you haven’t heard this name, then you should want him at the event. The wing could have a breakout season.

[player_tooltip player_id="811093" first="Legend" last="Geeter"] (F, River Rouge)

Of course we want to see one of the most versatile prospects in the country. I challenge him to be there....and not allow a bucket all day. Trust me, he could do it.

[player_tooltip player_id="969533" first="Jason" last="Jergens"] (PG, Marcellus Howardsville Christian)

Jergens is a shooter with under appreciated athleticism. He can score and dish efficiently.

[player_tooltip player_id="814667" first="Jamel" last="Johnson"] (CG, Romulus Summit Academy)

I’ve been impressed when I’ve seen Johnson in person. He could leave a big time impression at the event.

[player_tooltip player_id="611420" first="Julian" last="Lewis"] (SG, Ann Arbor Huron)

I think Lewis is probably the top perimeter defender in the state. It’d be nice to see some of the matchups that he might draw.

[player_tooltip player_id="611448" first="Mak" last="Manciel"] (CG, Sterling Heights Stevenson)

Manciel hasn’t played a high school game in a bit, but don’t forget how good he was. Manciel could come in and be one of the most prolific scorers in the state this year.

[player_tooltip player_id="814592" first="Connor" last="McKouen"] (SF, Clarkston)

McKouen showed a ton of potential last year at the event. He will make a ton of noise his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="811109" first="Keyon" last="Mennifield"] (CG, Flint Beecher)

Mennifield is one of the most explosive and dynamic players in Michigan. We all want to see him break down defenders at the Top 250.

[player_tooltip player_id="980055" first="Colin" last="Parachek"] (SG, Dexter)

Parachek is a star football player, but a heck of a basketball player as well. He’s a smooth athlete and solid decision maker.

[player_tooltip player_id="969528" first="Lowyind" last="Pullen"] (C, Homer)

Pullen is a smaller center, but I think he’s willing to battle with whoever is put in front of him. It’d be fun to see Pullen get the chance to prove himself.

[player_tooltip player_id="814680" first="Austin" last="Van Elst"] (PF, Thornapple Kellogg)

Van Elst has made a lot of noise with his play this summer. The Top 250 is a great opportunity for him to keep his name in the limelight.
