10 senior prospects who are still flying under the radar among college coaches...

[player_tooltip player_id="804910" first="Nate" last="Abel"] - 2021 - G - Beaver Dam

Abel has a NAIA offer from Morningside College. Still think the Beaver Dam guard can land at the Division 2 level. Abel is hearing from Minot State, Sioux Falls, Minnesota-Crookston, and Missouri-St. Louis. Division 1 programs such as VMI, Navy, Army, Air Force, Denver, and Eastern Illinois have also been checking on the Beaver Dam star. Abel had a breakout junior season and built on that over the summer. The 6-foot-2 combo guard played at a high level against good competition on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Abel’s scoring skillset and ability to play on or off the ball should be very valuable at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="879984" first="Drew" last="Biber"] - 2021 - SF - Cedarburg

Biber was recently committed to Northern Illinois for football. After backing off that pledge, Central Michigan and Grand Valley State have both shown interest in Biber for basketball. Perhaps the best 3-and-D prospect in the state, Biber is a tenacious, lockdown defender who can also space the floor on the other end. He’s a legit 6-foot-4 with all-around athleticism and could very well play his way to a Division 1 offer this season. At the very least, this should be a prospect that Division 2’s are all over.

[player_tooltip player_id="880003" first="Victor" last="Desmond"] - 2021 - SF - Onalaska

A lot of Division 1 schools continue to ask us about Desmond, which probably explains why the Division 2’s are hesitant to offer. Desmond has

all the measurables. A strong, athletic 6-foot-6 wing, Desmond looks the part and is a late bloomer who could really take off during his senior season. Desmond shows plenty of flashes with above the rim play in transition, a consistent mid-range game, and the ability to handle the ball in the half court. As his skills continue to catch up to his athletic measurables, Desmond’s stock is only going up.

[player_tooltip player_id="935490" first="Jalen" last="Keago"] - 2021 - SF - Oshkosh North

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Keago didn’t get a chance to play a lot of summer ball. However, we’ve seen enough to know he’s built on a breakout junior season and is ready for bigger and better things in 2020-21. An athletic, 6-foot-5 wing who can shoot the ball, run the floor, and score efficiently in the mid-range, there are a lot of tools to work with. Keago is currently fielding interest from Minnesota-Crookston, Minnesota-Duluth, and North Dakota School of Science.

[player_tooltip player_id="879991" first="Max" last="Kunnert"] - 2021 - SG - Brookfield Academy

Kunnert didn’t play much over the summer due to the pandemic. Had he been in action, there would be have been a lot more respect on his name. A skilled sharpshooter and playmaker from the two-guard spot, Kunnert put up big numbers as a junior while playing on one of the most talented starting lineups in the state. Kunnert is an excellent shooter on the move. The 6-foot-2 senior has a little point guard in his blood as well, able to see the floor and make plays for his teammates.

[player_tooltip player_id="804915" first="Cael" last="McGee"] - 2021 - G - Stoughton

McGee is still looking for his first offer, although North Dakota State, Kent State, Lipscomb, Radford, Southwest Minnesota State, Northern Michigan, Concordia St. Paul, Northern State, North Dakota School of Science, and others are showing interest. A strong, athletic, and tenacious guard, McGee had a big summer and opened a lot of eyes. One of the best dribble-drive threats in the state, McGee lives at the rim and loves to draw contact.

[player_tooltip player_id="701998" first="Donald" last="McHenry"] - 2021 - G - Milwaukee Academy of Science

Could be one of those prospects that lands at a junior college and we’re seeing at the Division 1 level in a couple of years. McHenry is a terrific playmaker on the ball. A plus-length lead guard with great drive and dish instincts, McHenry is so dangerous when he’s got possession. The 5-foot-11 senior has blow-by ability in the half court, can shoot the ball from the outside, and also makes a lot of plays defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id="879983" first="Antuan" last="Nesbitt"] - 2021 - G/W - The Prairie School

Nesbitt is a tough prospect to project at the next level. He’s a long, raw, 6-foot-3 guard/wing who plays all over the floor. He spends most of his time at point guard, which for his size and build, may not be his best position in college. One of the most versatile prospects in the state, Nesbitt averaged 16,8, and 5 as a junior. There are a handful of Division 1 programs showing interest in Nesbitt this summer. Regardless of his fit in specific systems, Nesbitt is just too talented to fall below D1. Another prospect that could very well go the JUCO/Prep route, add to his body, and land numerous D1 scholarships if he goes that route.

[player_tooltip player_id="935491" first="Jonah" last="Rindfleisch"] - 2021 - F - Wisconsin Lutheran

On measurables alone, wouldn’t be surprised if Rindfleisch catches some Division 2 offers. Maybe the top late bloomer in Wisconsin’s 2021 class, Rindlefliesch is a long, athletic 6-foot-7 forward that can run the floor and make some exciting things happen above the rim. He’s always shown some big flashes in a secondary role, but now those flashes are starting to become more consistent. A forward with budding versatility. Rindfleisch has a chance to be a big mismatch problem who’s best days are still ahead of him.

[player_tooltip player_id="879986" first="Tanner" last="Resch"] - 2021 - G - Sussex Hamilton

Seen enough of Resch in big-time games not to be fazed by the lack of size anymore. It’s been well documented that schools can get caught up in what a prospect lacks rather than focusing on what they are. In this case, Resch is a 5-foot-10 off-the-ball guard. Coming into his senior year, Resch’s size still hasn’t caught up to him and he still produces against the best players in this state. A kid that can make the case as the best shooter in the state with the longest range, Resch is a better athlete than people give him credit for and doesn’t appear to be a liability on the defensive end unless guards are willing to take him into the post. Division 3’s are praying he falls, while there’s a ton of D2 interest from the likes of Hawaii-Hilo, Rockhurst, Bemidji State, Hillsdale, Minnesota-Duluth, Clarke, and Minnesota-Crookston.
