With grassroots basketball about wrapped up in Ohio, it's time to take a look at some of the best performers from an interesting AAU season. Many 17U prospects used the shortened season to boost their stocks and be seen by college coaches in person and on live streams. The below guys are the top guys that I saw this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="855927" first="Keyshawn" last="Hall"]- Hall was by far the most intriguing prospect to me early in the AAU season. I was able to watch him at the Brawl for the Ball with Team Cleveland and he is a force to reckon with. Big body and utilizes his size both on the block and on the wing. Defends the interior and can attack on the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id="805164" first="Stefan" last="Stanic"]- Versatile as heck. Stefan looked real good for SMAC Attack when I watched him during the Ballin' Under 1 Roof event. Can step out on the perimeter and take guys off the bounce or body up inside with his back to the basket. Currently holds an offer from Ashland.

[player_tooltip player_id="555228" first="TJ" last="Pugh"]- One of the better scorers in the 2021 class. Pugh has added some muscle since I last saw him and has shown he can play some interior game. Already known for his shooting touch on the perimeter, Pugh overall has a solid offensive game to bring to the table. Impressed me recently as a perimeter defender and showing increased quickness moving side to side. Holds an offer from Fairmont State but could see more offers coming in.

[player_tooltip player_id="1010559" first="Meechie" last="Johnson"]- Meechie caught my attention originally when he announced he was returning to Garfield Heights for his senior year. His second big moment was watching during the Ballin' Under 1 Roof event as Johnson looks much more explosive since the last time I watched him. Bigger build and quicker, Meechie was able to take guys off the dribble and finish at a high level, while also displaying his incredible shooting touch and range. He should continue to turn heads and will make a case for the #1 player come 2021 Rankings update.

[player_tooltip player_id="918959" first="Jamiya" last="Neal"]- Jamiya has seen his stock rise a ton this Summer as his time with Hopson Elite has allowed the opportunity for multiple D1s to extend offers. At 6-6, Neal is a nightmare to defend as he is explosive off the perimeter and and very easily gets by defenders. Not the most physically imposing prospect, but uses his wirey frame to just attack the rim. Holds offers from Akron, Miami (OH), Kent State, NKU, Siena, and Toledo among others.
