Who are some of the Class AA talents we think could have breakout winter basketball seasons? We give you one per team.

[player_tooltip player_id="968156" first="Noah" last="Behrends"] of Aberdeen Central. A 6-foot-5 wing that will be depended on for consistent scoring each of the next two seasons, and should have the ability to provide it.

[player_tooltip player_id="975511" first="Jay" last="Jurgens"] of Brandon Valley. After seeing Jay play with the top talent of South Dakota Attack we are excited to see how Jay’s game becomes an even bigger part of the team’s offense.

[player_tooltip player_id="975541" first="Nick" last="Schefers"] of Brookings.

[player_tooltip player_id="975539" first="Kyle" last="Shields"] of Douglas.

[player_tooltip player_id="975581" first="Blaze" last="Lubbers"] of Harrisburg. After spending much of last year in a deep reserve spot Blaze has showed this summer that he should add depth to a Harrisburg team that should have solid expectations. Blaze should work nicely with Connor Geddes and [player_tooltip player_id="812217" first="Andrew" last="Walter"].

[player_tooltip player_id="879124" first="Derick" last="Siemonsma"] of Huron.

[player_tooltip player_id="975543" first="Zane" last="Alm"] of Mitchell. Zane has college basketball potential and at his size. Alm has the ability to finish around the rim plus he's a player that moves his 6-foot-8 body well. Should play well off of [player_tooltip player_id="812199" first="Caden" last="Hinker"].

[player_tooltip player_id="963775" first="Jackson" last="Edman"] of Pierre. [player_tooltip player_id="963751" first="Lincoln" last="Kienholz"] had a big freshman season and Jackson should move into a big role as a fellow sophomore this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id="975519" first="Kohl" last="Meisman"] of Rapid City Central. One of our go out on a limb predictions is that at 6-foot-6 Kohl could turn himself into an All State level honored player in Class AA. Liked what we saw in reviewing him this spring, big steps could be taken.

[player_tooltip player_id="975592" first="Branson" last="Kuehle"] of Rapid City Stevens.

Along Tong of Sioux Falls Lincoln. Played mostly on the JV this past winter but at 6-foot-6 with length and agility, Tong should figure into the rotation this year as Lincoln does not have much returning from last year’s team. Tong and [player_tooltip player_id="812198" first="Caleb" last="Hiatt"] could be really good together.

[player_tooltip player_id="975537" first="Hayden" last="Muirhead"] of Sioux Falls O’Gorman. After providing for his team off the bench last year Hayden will step into a starting frontcout role and he has the physical ability to provide a daily double-double. Really like the potential of Hayden playing with [player_tooltip player_id="812186" first="David" last="Alpers"] up front.

[player_tooltip player_id="975533" first="Koor" last="Kuol"] of Sioux Falls Roosevelt. Koor has to be one of the high potential guys in this class that could have a massive senior season. Played the 6th man role last year and should step into a much bigger spot as a senior.

Akok Aguer of Sioux Falls Washington. After a fantastic summer with the Force Bartlett team as a two way player pressuring full court and then playmaking intelligently, we are very interested to see how Akok fits in this winter. Could have a big senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id="963756" first="Owen" last="Cass"] of Sturgis Brown.

[player_tooltip player_id="968173" first="Drew" last="Norberg"] of Watertown. Drew was one of those sophomores that earned a lot of experience last season playing with both the varsity and JV. One of the ten best Class AA sophomores last year and should have a much bigger role this season.

[player_tooltip player_id="963743" first="Michael" last="Mors"] of Yankton. Michael was very good as a frosh but definitely has the potential to take some massive steps as a sophomore as another go to talent.
